  1. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=198297 You might want to check out the thread that is specifically aimed at VAICOM Pro support and the videos linked from the first post. If that doesn't get you up and running, then posting your question, with a few more details, will be likely to. Just as a starter and as there have been a few DCS updates recently, deleting the export.lua file, in the Users/<your user>/Saved Games/<DCS folder>/Scripts folder, and then restarting DCS and VoiceAttack might help.
  2. can you see the mic as an option in the windows speech recognition setup or in Windows sound settings?
  3. or maybe dictate with something like Voice Attack?
  4. An odd suggestion i know, but maybe check that you haven't just bound your throttle lever(s) to the left engine or that the lever bound to the right engine isn't faulty and providing no or reduced thrust. The former is probably unlikely, as no thrust at all from the right engine would make it very tough/impossible to reach take-off speed, but reduced thrust might explain it. You should be able to check this by watching the in-cockpit levers, to see if they both advance together or if the right one gets left behind. Asymmetric thrust would of course also affect you in the air, but as you don't say whether you manage to get into the air, i thought it worth mentioning.
  5. Not in the patch notes, but the McAfee false positive issue has also been fixed. Thank you muchly ED :)
  6. McAfee is still reporting the DCS.exe as containing malware EDIT: The latest patch seems to have fixed the false positive issue. Thanks
  7. Has your AV been updated, as they might have just got rid of the false positive?
  8. hmmmm, maybe 2020 heralds a new business model for ED?? ;) Seriously though, it will be a false positive, caused by the AV being overly cautious
  9. I've sent it off for confirmation as a false positive, but will refrain from using it until i hear back from them.
  10. McAfee reports virus in DCS.exe??? Having just finally finished the download and installation of the new update, I was greeted with the following from my anti-virus program. "A virus tried to attack your PC, but we took care of it What we found: Suspect!8d59ae9868aa Where we found it: G:\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe" I expect that it is probably a false positive, but it would be good to know this for sure and how i am supposed to get round it. Malwarebytes reports it as clean, but I will be sending a report to McAfee to hopefully get them to stop Total Protection from being overly cautious.
  11. Up and Down are neck and neck in Torrent, with Up just edging it. ;p
  12. ..and the gift horse is yet to arrive :)
  13. The SU-33 comes free with the Supercarrier and even though the supercarrier is pre-order, the SU-33 will still be able to be downloaded and installed immediately after purchase.

This question just requires a one word answer : BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT!!!!!!! sorted :)
  15. Thanks for that @Sonoda Umi We will still need to await official word on exactly what will be included, but if "control of the carrier" is not included, then I would expect at least some explanation of why not.
  16. maybe, in the real world, a Hornet pilot would expect to be able to fire an AMRAAM, but not so much to be able to land on the carrier and to be able to pilot it? All this back and forth is pretty pointless though, as ED have apparently never included an independent ability to pilot the ship, as a feature, in any of their promotions or statements, so it will be up to them as to whether they provide it.
  17. Locomotion in VR can cause nausea for some users, so locomotion on a ship, with potential sea-sickness as well, could be really fun :)
  18. So it looks like we might be relying on ED's good will and development resource, to include what is effectively a wishlist feature, into a product that is nearing completion? If it was already there, then I'm sure they would have said so and as it would appear that they have never said that it would be included, i don't see how anyone can complain if they decide not to add it. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
  19. You need to be logged in as well
  20. So the lack of clarity is around how it will interact with CA and there has been nothing about piloting ships without CA?
  21. With CA it most probably will be, but it would appear that some think that piloting the ships without CA has been stated by ED, as a feature of the Supercarrier, and it was that statement that I was looking for.
  22. Having read this thread, I've been looking for where ED has ever said that the carriers will be able to be piloted without CA and i am struggling to find anything. Could someone help me out?
  23. Make sure that you are logged in to your account and if you have the Hornet in your hangar, the discount is applied automatically.
