  1. On behalf of 69° Squadrone I'm glad to confirm our interest in the project.
  2. Oh! He's going to get one before X-mas from his Squadron mates.
  3. It all began with Falcon 3 and am still flying the king. Will give it a rest for a while now, at least untill the very rumored new BMS lands. Am in the process of learning but, from what I've seen sofar, the A-10C qualifies for the term Simulation. If ED will decide for a dynamic theatre environment, although not like the one Falcon has, which in my opinion is very immersive but with great shortcomings, I'll be even happier. Great job ED Team on this module.
  4. Possibly a coding nightmare but, since many will be flying in virtual squadrons, a nice feature would be to have the pilot name below the canopy for online flights. Will this be implemented at some point? Sorry if it has been asked before but atm don't have time to go through 61 pages...
  5. Am absolutely impressed by the quality of this sim, this also after viewing GA's official movie Project-10. Looks like we now have a candidate for de-throning "the new benchmark in flight simulation". Great work!
  6. For installation and files under W7 x64 also check here: http://www.cubpilotshangar.net/page105.html
  7. In the meantime check this post:http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=864378&postcount=1 as well as this one which should be specifically for an F-15 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=51661
  8. As everyone in my squadron uses the Cougar and we just downloaded FC2, rest assured several profiles will be available shortly. Most probably the first one will be for the A-10 and others will follow. Will post again as soon as the first one is available.
  9. Neverex

    Flare mod

    Nice one BD.
  10. You are the man!. Thanx. Am working on a profile but would hate to start from scratch... Will post when ready.
  11. Since we're talking about configurations, is there a realistic profile at hand for the TM HOTAS (Cougar)?
  12. Have had Falcon (hate to use it as an example) for the past 10 years and have been happily flying with my Squadron mates for 8. I don't count the number of times I've changed hardware, machine, formatted or simply re-installed the sim. In the meantime I've spent time with many other games which, once finished, went into a box for good. If you expect Squadrons to form up, mods to be installed and uninstalled, people will need a platform allowing them to do so. Limiting the number of activation on a product which, supposedly, will be on our machines for quite a long time, is not what I'd define "user friendly". As it will not be possible to make a copy or fly without the dvd inserted, I'd like to know what happens if, after a year or two, the dvd becomes unusable? Will ED send me a new one? As you seem the only kid on the block, at least for a while, I'd probably still buy it. Am I enthusiastic about the idea? No. If the product is good people will buy it. This is not a game you take off the shelves and sell 15 days later. If you want it you buy the box, the manual and the nice keyboard or joystick layout that usually comes with the DVD. Keeping it simple is an option.
  13. After 10 years of Falcon I sort of expected this to happen. It is, regrettably, human nature. Thank you for your post which is very much appreciated. We will wait, knowing that what we will get will be a better product. This will give us a little more time to organize our forum for the release of BS and Squad creation. "Damn you whatever you do!"
  14. First off hi everyone as this is one of my first posts here at ED. SunDown , sorry you had a bad experience but I don't think you can blame a whole community because of one guy. Anyhow, on the matter of in-game comms, me and my squadron friends, very much enjoy using the in-game comms of Open Falcon as they add to realism. True, the quality could be better but it isn't that bad after you get used to it, plus some discipline (nothing fancy) must be maintained in order to keep the radio chatter understandable. Personally, I'm very happy for the effort made by ED on BS as we haven't seen much in the simulation world in the past - uh! - 10 years. So, be it an F-16 or a KA-50, it is fine by me as long as we can keep alive this "niche" market of simulators and make it grow. We will be happy with TS for comms although in-game radio is our first choice. At the end we'll be happy with a machine we can control, a group of friends to fly with and countless hours of fun.
