I need clarification - what module is this for?

Even I drop it below 100% in DCS. I keep it at 90% in OpenXR. You have a GTX1080; I had a GTX1080Ti and I still had to run at minimal settings in DCS to get decent FPS. Im sorry dude, but that card and that headset isnt going to get you clarity with no amount of help. Move up to a G2 and youll get better clarity without a hit in performance, but you're trying to squeeze blood out of a turnip now. The best I can suggest is to use Kegetys shader mod on top of this (I still use it, speed-of-heat keeps it updated) on top of OpenXR. And if anyone still cares, I use the very original version of OpenXR (OpenOVR) still without any problems.

Eh, thats debatable. All that plug has to do is pull itself out slightly and cant itself. When you go to reseat it, you wind up pushing a pin over..its not exactly a great plug arrangement to say the least. Its just a ridiculous way to friction lock a plug.

Honestly I dont think its the cable...after 2 of them getting trashed, I would tend to think its the headset. Maybe some pins got bent, its not like that isnt an uncommon issue with this plug.

Honestly Id turn the clouds down from ultra and make shadows flat. Those two are by far the biggest FPS killer for VR right now. My system can barely handle clouds and shadows for some odd reason, but I can max out everything else except MSAA...I keep that at 2x.

In 2008 it was going to be an A model Apache. I recall them asking for NSN numbers for the manuals that were in circulation, and that was the first Ive heard of it.

I get great performance on my system and yours will be better than mine, so you can expect decent performance. If not, you'll have to tweak windows a bit like I did.

Ok managed to get them sorted. So it turns out that the calibration exe is kind of finicky as you should only calibrate one axis at a time. Also had to replace the main spring, but back on track!

OpenXR shouldnt be increasing performance like that. Shouldnt be a 2 step operating system to get a couple monitors to work in DCS; Oculus has its own operating system so to speak, why does Reverb need to go through both steam AND wmr? If it wasnt so frustrating, Id be flying every day like I used to when I had trackir. Sorry, I know my opinion isnt the greatest, but its just another ordeal. I liken it to an actual preflight.

Yeah so do I. Guess Im going to have to get smart and try to prevent this from here on out, I never heard of this problem before today.

Talking with Slaw right now, believes that it could be the fact I use a damper thats causing the problem. Every time you shut down and your rudder pedals arent center, they develop a memory and its center readjusts? So if its off center when you shut down, its likely going to be out of calibration next time you start. So Im going to have to possibly remove the damper and start a recalibration from scratch again. I dont know why I couldnt get it recalibrated this weekend, but hopefully this time it works. Ill report back.

My slaw pedals died this weekend...

I did the same thing but like 8 months ago. I tried a zip tie first but I didnt care for the scratches. My next VR set will NOT be an HP; Ive went through a G1, 2 G2's, and 3 cables between the last 2. All in honesty though, finding that VR isnt really worth the aggravation, so when this headset dies Im headed back to TIR.

On the TSD screen, upper row, youll have a SHOW button. Click on that, click on CPG cursor on the left. That will show his cursor on the screen. If you are looking to see where the TADS is looking at on the map itself, I believe you have to make the GHS as the acquisition source, but I dont believe it shows up on the map display. You will only see it in your IHADSS afaik.

You can adjust your view with the rctrl rshift and numpad digits and make it more natural, and your alignment will still be way off, and Ive yet to see snapviews work in VR. Not saying it doesnt, just never seen it work.

OBS records from SteamVR, not WMR. Wish there was a fix for that myself as I would love to start streaming in VR but until its better optimized...

Looks like you're right; I thought I had uninstalled that aircraft since I never use it and I didnt see it in my mods folder until you said something. Never even used the mod!

Yeah theres a lot of errors in this log for some reason, but dont really see anything regarding C-130 sounds. dcs.log

Did a repair, did an update, and still sounds like a turbojet. No change.
