I dont even know if its feasible yet, its an old old old Flanker 2.0/Falcon 4.0/LOMAC group from 15+ years ago. Im interested in rebranding it and starting it again. If I do, itll be from scratch and yes will be recruiting. So far its just me.

so how come when I do that, its always off?? I can stare straight down that tube and get 3 perfect rings evenly spaced apart and its always off. Hell, even if I adjust my seat position to eye level with the tube its still off.

so do you sit right back up in your natural position afterwards?

Id like to know how do you exactly get concentric rings for a "good alignment". Do you sit in your natural posture in a chair then look down the barrel of the tube? Do you slouch over to get a better view down the tube? Do you adjust your seat position down to get a better view down the tube? Which way is the correct way???? Its ALWAYS off for me in VR.

You arent missing out on much. Only reason why I have it now is because I cant find a supported version of Windows 10 with drivers for my new hardware. One day Ill find a way to roll back, but until then this is what I get.

The only thing that really confuses me about my settings is ALL of my speakers are listed as Realtek USB audio. It wasnt like that in Windows 10. Even my jet seat which is plugged into a SPDIF port is listed as a USB audio.

Honestly, the last time I started it was when I update it. I keep saying to myself one of these days Ill learn how to use it, but even still I find myself not flying at all and Ive never really fully set up Vaicom for actual use. I have it, but the amount of times Ive used it...I wonder why I even have it.

Running Windows 11 Pro. Ever since I migrated to Windows 11, I havent been able to get any sound output to my headset for communications only. I have been able to get actual sound from my headset, but just DCS as a whole. I can get it to work with a regular headset, but for some reason not my Reverb G2.

Not working, still not seeing anything in Open Beta, and its always constantly asking for my password even when I log in and click remember pw and login info. However.... OK...after taking the suggestion, I just input openbeta in text and nothing more. Now its seeing my saved games folder again, thanks!

I have it installed in B drive to keep things organized. No, it hasnt caused any problems. None of my games, save for MSFS is installed on the main directory. This is my saved games folder. And to be clear, I identified that drive as B drive. Its just another M.2 stick.

the last log was from 8/19/2023 in my OB folder so I know it worked before. Heres the freshest one out of the DCS folder. dcs.log

2.8.8.43704 Trying to launch DCS Open Beta, DCS is pulling information from the DCS folder and not DCS Open Beta. None of my skins are showing up, no missions, no config files, I physically have to rename my DCS Open Beta folder to DCS. Ive tried updating, repairs, nothing working. Even my joystick profiles are all gone and Im not sure what happened here. Im not using DCS Stable.

Prior to OpenXR being native, one of the recommended settings (demanded settings, really) state that PD should always be set to 100% with reprojection turned off. Is it still required to keep PD at 1.0? IIRC this caused issues where it would make flying in VR almost impossible and I dont want to mess around with this setting unless its clear to do so. Thanks in advance.

3 years later............. Of course your PC will render more than the displays refresh rate, dont recall anyone ever stating anything otherwise. The "actual FPS" is limited by your monitors refresh rate, thats flat out a hardware limitation. Sure your fps counter will be accurate, but it only reflects the actual commands to draw sent to the video card and not the monitor. The monitor is not an input hardware, its the end result of the computation. I would dare say thats why you get tearing as they dont sync up 100% unless you put in an FPS limit or vsync. You arent going to see any more than what the monitor says you can see.

I have to get SSA working every time I load up DCS it feels like, its not as user friendly as it should be...but updating is the least of the problems. The beta version seems to always be the best working version, IMO.

Yes, if your course line is set at 000, you need to approach the target from its 180 heading 0 (i think) in PP. You also need to make sure that your fuses are set, your release type is set to AUTO, and...its been a while since I last flew the -18, but what is CLAR? That must be the Paveway 3.

I asked that very same question but under different circumstances. Depending on what you have, but if its just a jetpad then no. I wanted to slow down the fire rate for aircraft guns...wish it would happen, but not sure they can.
