There are a lot of things that only Navy aircraft get that overseas customers dont...and Im not exactly sure which aircraft get them all either; Ive only been at Boeing a short time now. A little thing to dwell on btw...India is supposedly buying F-18E/F models in 2025; India is also cozying up with China and Russia. Bet your ass they arent getting the latest and greatest even if the sale goes through...which I HIGHLY doubt will. Block 3s are pretty much the only thing being built right now, and its really nice.

Indeed there is. Navy birds get radar absorbing materials bonded to the skins before they go to paint. Thats an addition foreign aircraft do NOT get. Now thats not to say foreign birds dont have a reduced cross section due to the unique angles, its just not nearly as stealthy as those for US customers.

Dont really think that ED still can anyways, what with the radar signature being somewhat...iffy. Foreign export models dont get the secret sauce like the Navy crews get, so there will have to be 2 different radar cross sections for the aircraft.

theres also a cockpit reduction mod that brings the textures down to 2k instead of default 4k. Highly recommended.

How so? I use .9 PD and max everything out and I get great results.

i get better performance with my 3080ti and all this maxed out except MSAA which I keep at 2x.

Yeah the card itself can draw that much of a current! Highly recommended you upgrade your psu. An 850w might get you by, but your hitting its upper limit easily.

Supposedly the only benefit you would see in DCS would be in VR. I already top out over 120fps in DCS on a Caucasus map in most circumstances. Question would be would it really benefit you? Also keep in mind that you will absolutely need to get a minimum 1000w power supply just to power the thing.

Unless of course I can do this, but I dont see a way how to do this. I have 2 monitors: my main monitor is on the desk while my second monitor is set up at my cockpit station now. Im trying to relocate DCS to that monitor instead of my desktop monitor, but theres no way for me to select the monitor in setup, and no way to drag it over to the next monitor. Again, if theres a way, Id like to know how to do this but I cant drag and drop DCS onto my other monitor.

if thats the case, wouldnt it affect the Ka50? Never really miss with that vehicle...I will mention though that the AH64 doesnt have a way to latch the laser designator to the target like you can with everything else, you have to manually adjust it the whole way in.

For me yeah...I went back to TrackIR. Im sick of VR. Ive flown 99% less since having got VR and switched from TrackIR; it may be awesome and amazing, but holy crap if it isnt a damned hassle everytime I want to fly. Makes it a tad bit easier to make movies too...

Probably would have been better buying the FSSB R3 instead. Of course you would need to have a TM Warthog on top of it, but they also have F-16 sticks on their site, probably just as much.

mine consistently pops out over 11.2gb. I assume that last bit of vram is allocated like a buffer of sorts like pre caching or if its system allocated like every other hard disk on the computer. You can never get the full memory usage out of anything - SSD, HDD, VRAM, DRAM, SDRAM....

I wasnt able to get any rain drops on any canopy in the last weather preset for rain, but was able to get it on other rainy presets.

I dont get it then - if you have the IHADSS rendered in both eyes, you should have two green crosses (one in each eye) and the fix was to align them as shown.

do it the same way you were doing it before putting it on both eyes - align one of them. Or you can try out what was mentioned on the first page of the thread...
