  1. uhh, maybe? Ill check when I get to my sim, but I rarely ever tweak my settings; I tend to keep them at max and just leave it alone. edit: no, I keep it at 4xMSAA. While I am there....
  2. track file is there on a similar issue, pilots radio isnt synced with the gunners radio. my pilot last night asked me to put UHF on a certain preset and I confirmed it already was. I recall this was an issue not long ago and since I just started flying with a friend in the cockpit, this is my first time experiencing these issues firsthand. I dont have these issues in SP - not the artefacting or the radios obviously.

  4. While actively using the TADS I get some nasty artefacts that block almost 100% of the view of the display and all it takes for me to see it is to move my head ever so slightly. I have a video posting on youtube that will show you how problematic it is and will take some time for it to upload, but here are some screenshots. I havent seen this in SP yet. DxDiag.txt dcs.log
  5. you should watch the track because Ive tried that many times. Ive done everything that was asked. I havent played the training mission since I reported this as I understand how the radar works now, but Ill give it a shot later to see if its been fixed.
  6. thats pretty much the gist of the entirety of the combat flight sim community. quite frankly though, the Moza/Walmis discussion is really a worthy thought considering that chinese companies have this annoying habit of ripping off proprietary rights left and right throughout the world, and its hit home here. That also goes for Winwing stealing stuff from VKB and incorporating their designs into their own sticks and it really should be discussed to let everyone know and make informed choices when it comes to purchasing things. I agree the community can be toxic, but a more worthwhile discussion there really isnt.
  7. you cant exactly click the buttons to rotate the radar left or right. Ill try again later, but the moment your dish is 25-30 degrees to the right, the trigger should activate and continue the training mission.
  8. and this was one of the reasons why I didnt want to buy from a chinese company; they have a nice habit of ripping off other companies property for their own benefit. Didnt think it would be Walmis' software though...wow.

  10. You take off, fly to wpt 1 while avoiding the nearby airport. From there you navigate to wpt 2, contact JTAC and patrol the city. Youll get random reports of mortar fire coming from all directions.

  13. I finally got access to a metal shop with good working brakes. Im just going to build it with some scrap aluminum I have lying around here. Ill take pics when I get it finished bent to shape; not going to drill the holes yet as I am going to make it somewhat adjustable to position it on my rig.
  14. I just completed this mission today with the FCR - and it was great. Made this mission a piece of cake. Really a great mission to learn how to operate it, and even better...SSS FCR, ACQ SRC as PHS, and use your head to rotate the radar cone to scan your sight line. You can walk yourself over to the target like this.
  15. Im familiar with how headsets work in the F-18, A-10 and the F-16 for the most part, so I have a question regarding the IHADDS and the image superimposed on the screen. When I look around in any other aircraft, the horizon stays level with the horizon as well as the elevator tape. The compass swings to the direction you are viewing. However, the IHADDS image stays static: looking side to side, the horizontal bar will be offset from the horizon, the elevator tape stuck at its reference point, and the compass doesnt rotate around in the direction you are looking. Wouldnt any of this information change to where you look around the cabin or outside the aircraft? It seems like its very disorienting coming from other headsets that do just that, so Im wondering if this is a limitation to the head tracking sensors in the cabin.
  16. Its Vne is 140kts and that's only in a dive. There's no way you get those speeds without pointing the nose down that much. 90 for a slick is cruising at base pressure and temperatures, and IIRC the gunship is limited to 65kts due to weight restrictions. 100kts if colder and less dense air pressure. If it starts to shake, you're too fast.
  17. I have DCRealistic. It's a nice touch; its just an additional external sound and camera mod much like simshaker is with haptic feedback. It shouldn't interfere with FFB at all, but makes me wonder now if the rhino, moza or others will play nice with buttkicker or jet seat...
  18. yeah, ignore the underline at the top as its not the correct unit. I underlined that after the fact to look at some...kills...that were more accidental than anything.

  20. IIRC there was a mod somewhere that would indicate which buttons were linked to a specific button on the MIPS display button box...like a line that coincides with what button mapped. Has anyone seen this mod, or did I imagine this mod once upon a time? Sure would like to get it if possible. TIA

  22. NOt sure if it was an issue or not, I think theres a maximum times you can input a frequency into memory before it becomes 100% populated. I did ask though, waiting for a reply back.
  23. Im having a bit of an issue trying to get comms set up for blank presets on the right side of the COM menu. Currently working a campaign that requires me to use two different VHF channels, and selecting the backup preset on preset 1 (EUFD select radio, swap button, enter) I cant edit for some reason - it just gets wiped out to default or I cant edit it again to correct the freq. It will edit the first preset only. To get past this issue I want to select preset 6, and here I encounter the same problem; no values want to be stored. Heres what Ive tried to do: COM menu, select Preset 6, MAN, and this is where I get tripped up: only the first 4-5 presets currently can be edited so I assume I have to set up the channel from scratch. So how would I go about editing a new radio preset mid mission? Heres a bug I noticed while trying to edit a mission; its time stamped at the start of me trying to edit a freq on the fly. I would really like to know how to select a radio from the P menu...
  24. Im playing this mission right now, I have gun fire at wp2 and 3. Seems like after this past update, I get random game breaking triggers that happen or dont happen 50% of the time. Half the time my wingman wont lift, the other half the time he will. So hovering about 2 miles away from wp3 gives you the best vantage point in taking on the infantry outside the compound. Best thing to do is let George handle the gun and put his ROE green AFTER you take the Dshk, AAA, technicals and identified the infantry as AK. Hover over the compound and do a 360 scan with george to pick off any stragglers and avoid blue on blue.
