I found the solution - didnt know they recently added an off condition for a button, so the following would be the correct way to set up a 3 way toggle:

Everyone has had this problem, the fix is to get the graphics textures off of high to either medium or low. Appears to be a big memory leak at the very least, but its only in VR.

Nvm, I was overthinking it. Instead of deleting the whole string of characters like I was, all I had to do was just type in the numbers, not KM.

Nope, clean fresh install. Found the problem to be related to running at High Textures which is causing an OOM. Lowering the textures to medium gives me stability, so I believe the textures are a bit too heavy for VR.
