  1. I was out of town working last week so I couldn’t try this fix until last night and it worked! It looks amazing now. The only issue I had was that when I originally modified the numbers it saved as a txt file. I had to learn how to modify it then save as a .lua after by using notepad++. Once I did that it works perfectly. So if anyone has tried this and it hasn’t worked that’s your problem. Thanks again Otto. I’m just curious as to why this is even necessary? Does Eagle Dynamics not know about it? Just seems strange that’s all.
  2. Ottopus. Thanks so much for sharing this. I will give it a try ASAP. I do wonder why this modification is needed and they don’t just program it like that?
  3. Pizzicato, Thanks for responding. Here are some screen shots. While playing these lines never stop moving up or down. Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Jeff
  4. Now I know what people going to say this topic has been addressed but the only thing I can find are people talking about what they think will help. No actual help. The problem is with shading. It sucks! The lines are super jagged and almost blinking. I know this isn’t right because I see all the YouTube posts and it looks great. I have a i7-8700k @ 5.0 ghz a RTX 2080ti, 32gb ram on 32” 4K monitor. It’s almost unplayable the shading is so bad and that’s at every setting. I have tried changing all the settings and nothing makes it even remotely closer to better. Please help anyone that has actually had this problem. Some one has to have experienced this. Thanks.
  5. I know this thread is a little old but I was wondering what the result was? I have a 34” 3440x1440 with g-sync and have all kind of problems. There is nothing I can do to not have super jagged shadows. I have spent literally hours changing settings. Nothing works. I have a i7-8700k overclocked, water cooled and an RTX 2080 ti. The system is no slouch but it’s still no good. The only thing I can figure is that the 21:9 is scaling in such a way it’s causing the shadows to render that way. It’s just the shadows. I can run everything on max and don’t have a problem maintaining 100 FPS. Anyone else experience this?
  6. Hi all. Now I know there are some threads on this but none are helpful. I have horrible cockpit shadows in this game. I know I am doing something wrong because I watch so many tutorials from jabbers, waggs, crash and none of them have the same problem. It is making the game nearly unplayable. I have a i7-8700k overclocked, RTX 2080ti, 16mb ram, running off a 1tb m.2 for my drive so this is a beast of a system. Still, I can’t get smooth lines in the game. I have tried everything I know how. I’m pulling my hair out so any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I know it’s possible because lesser machines seem to be doing it without a problem. My monitor is a 3440x1440. Thanks. Jeff
