  1. If you want to know how much of it is the AI's behavioral modelling, then you need to put the AI in the same aircraft as yourself. How does the AI handle to P51 up at 28000ft, fighting against you also in a P51?
  2. No. The aircraft engines are supposed to be "off" but "warm". DCS does not allow this so we start then "hot" but with zero fuel. This makes the engine shut off before the pilot can taxy. This is effectively the same as off and warm. this is the only way we can achieve what we want.

  8. In addition to the consistent log file entries every time the server crashes, we are also getting the same critical error in the windows event viewer. All of them related to a failure in C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll This dll is reported by windows as the faulting module.   9. Similar experience on SoW. Crashes seem to occur when player count is above 25 or so, and for 30 minutes or more. We also get troubles with players connecting, then the server will crash some time afterwards. Monitoring CPU, RAM and Ethernet use during those times shows no hardware overload. So the hardware is not maxing out.

  11. Hi BigNewy, have our suspicious about drivers and OS updates been confirmed as the cause now? This seems odd, given that we've all updated our driers and OS's now and are still seeing the crashes. This would strongly suggest to me that the OS / Driver thing is NOT in play here.
  12. Made it through 24 hours this time before we had a crash. Crash occurred once player count had been over 35 for around 45 minutes. We have enabled full data logging now.   13. We are using Windows Server with AMD CPU yes. Have done a couple of repairs, but at this point not a complete DCS reinstall . . .

  15. After a few hours people joining the server are getting a join-crash at the "Net Sim Post Start" phase of joining. A a screenshot is attached.

  17. Please see this thread. I suspect the map is involved in these crashes based on the lines in the log, but I cannot be sure.
  18. These are all over the Normandy map. There are also places where Rivers/ streams flow up hill . . . Quality Control on this map was done at 30,000ft I think.

  21. Hi Grimes, we updated SL-mod to your newer dev version for 2.7. I am not sure if these crashes are occurring due to the mod though. Here is a post about what we are seeing. There still seems to be an event connection to ejection/ bail outs.
  22. Storm of War server, Normandy map. Regular crashes without producing a crash dump or trk file. DCS just shuts down completely.
