  1. Slip indicator reversed on F15 I noticed this evening that the slip indicator (the 'ball' beneath the attitude indicator) has reversed indications. When you step on the rudder, the ball should move in the opposite direction. In FC3, it moves in the same direction as your yaw. -Ted
  2. I was just wondering how well the synthetic appature radar will be modeled in the F15E. From what I recall, the targeting system for the F15E is very dependent on it and it would be disappointing to see it implimented the same way that the FLIR is in A10C (where somehow a tree puts out as much heat as a running tank). Do DCS World objects have a "radar reflectivity" property assigned to them (as they should have for IR)? To really do it right, this value should change with the angle the radar hits it, but you can't have everything. TedStriker Denver, CO
  3. Well I've been working on this pit for a quite a while now and I think it's finally ready to show to the world. Recently added paint and replaced Cougar MFDs with a 17" touchscreen and installed Helios to run DCS A10 and BS System specs are: AMD FX-8120 Eight-Core Processor 3.10 GHz 16 GB RAM Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti Primary 1TB HD Secondary 128 GB SanDisk SSD drive 27" Samsung Syncmaster P2770FH Monitor 17" Monoprice touchscreen monitor X52 Pro Joystick/Throttle CH Pro Pedals TrackIR 4 with Pro Clip CM Storm 5.0 headset. Logitech wireless illuminated keyboard Logitech wireless M510 mouse I built the base, side consoles, and front console myself with some pretty basic woodworking skills. They sat as bare wood for months until I painted them with grey primer a couple of weeks ago and covered the bare wood on the front console with DigiCamo duct tape I found at WalMart. I got the seat from a junk yard in Cheyenne, WY from a '95 Honda Prelude and put a new seat cover on it. I currently have the following flight sims installed: DCS World A10 DCS World Black Shark LOMAC: Flaming Cliffs 2 FSX X-Plane 10 Take On Helicopters Cliffs of Dover Apache Air Assault Let me know what you think! 4. Oops Well, disregard my last post. I figured it out. I guess I didn't read far enough into the forum to find the new changes. It's working now.
  5. Help! I am unable to get this to work. I have the 2 MFDs succesfully exported to a 2nd monitor and I've been trying to get the RWR to export as well. I copied the code as listed at the beginning of this thread and created a .lua file in the monitor setup folder as listed below. I know it's doing something because if I don't uncomment "render_purpose.GENERAL" then the crosshairs disappear from the RWR in the 3d cockpit. I've also tried putting the RWR at the same coordinates Where one of the MFDs have been displaying succesfully so I'm pretty sure it's not trying to display off the screen. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, -Ted Denver, CO _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('BottomMFDs2'); Description = 'Two monitor configuration'; Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 1680; height = 1050; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.6; } } LEFT_MFCD = { x = 1700; y = 350; width = 390; height = 390; } RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 2254; y = 350; width = 390; height = 390; } RWR_SCREEN = { x = 2254; y = 50; width = 390; height = 390; } UIMainView = Viewports.Center
  6. I always thought it would be cool if different games could link together. . . You get shot down in BS, you land and it starts America's Army (or some other shooter), you go to airport to go home, and it starts up MSFS, you land back home and it starts up <insert name of cool driving game>, you drive home and it starts The Sims, go to sleep and it starts up Doom 3 or Diablo. -T
  7. Here's a request: Could they get somebody who speaks english as their native language proofread the campaign text? Those things give me a headache every time I read them. It would be nice if they could do the same thing for Black Shark. -T
