The reason why it's not on steam is because steam requires a set date of release which Heatblur hasn't gotten yet. Once the release date is set it will be put on steam.

Are we sure that this is not just an A-8 Anton pretending to be a zero?
Yes you can see them clearly @ 2:25 behind the tank. The funny thing is that the tank's sprocket doesn't move.

Does the pre-order on ED's page include a digital version of the Meteor soundtrack?
Yes. The same way as the Tomcat.

The manual will only be available to users who have pre-purchased the module? (or will be able to read it before purchasing?)
I would assume it will be available to everyone like the F-14 manual.

As I have understood it Steam will have the same price as the ED and Heatblur stores. Once it's released into early access it will go to full price.

Unfortunate, but possible. But I'll still get it. Too much groovy tech to pass up.
I mean to say that it will most likely have a discount on steam as well. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.

Question on the preorder:
ED has a 25% off preorder offer. Hearblur gives all kinds options with extra goodies. If I order via heatblur, how does ED add it to my module list when it comes it?
When you preorder from the Heatblur store you will get an email with a serial number that you will have to enter at the ED site when it becomes available.

Q: What variants will the Heatblur F-4 Phantom include?
A: The first release will be DCS: F-4E, the iconic land based variant of the Phantom. We will be launching two variants of the -E; a “classic era” F-4E (blocks 36-45 with updates retrofitted in 1974 and before, including new slats, DSCG and AGM-65) as well as an upgraded (DMAS) version of the aircraft in one package. From the FAQ.

This is a preorder. The module hasn't been released in early access yet. When it will release, sometime this winter, you will enter the serial number you received in the email to the DCS webpage.

The short-long press (like in the Viggen or the Cat) was asked early when the first iteration of the VoiceChat was released.
I hope that this option will be available in a near future.
Wait. Does the Tomcat have that binding because I can't find it. I can only see it for the Viggen.

I really hope this is fixed quickly.

Back in the day when we had a couple of full fidelity modules sales weren't really affected but nowadays there are so many modules that have been announced that it is impractical to get them all either due to cost or the lack of time you have to fly them.
I might have been more excited about the F-15 if I didn't know that the F-4, F-8, A-6 and A-7 were coming. Not to mention all the modules I already have but haven't had the chance to fly them very much.
So I don't think it's one module that is affecting the sales of another but a bigger change in DCS. We now have more planes than we have time to fly them.

Fast alignment should take approximately 3 minutes according to the manual.

Yes. It's the stored heading alignment.

Yep, but i was referring to the checkbox

As in, is it optional or not (DCS burble is) ?As I understand it, yes. Although I don't get why.

Even if they did decide to make it don't expect to see it any time soon. We still haven't gotten the J-35 and the A-6 and KA-6.

I think it's far away enough that there is no point in speculating if it will come before or after the Intruder.

I am fairly confident that an F-4E can launch CAT 5 with minimal fuel and ordnance. Ill even test it when we get the module.
This could make an interesting scenario for a mission.

Doesn't the Forrestal have bridle catchers? Of course the procedure would be different from the launch bar system but not that different. Still I expect it to be long before it is supported by the supercarrier module, if we get support for the Forrestal.

Being a Greek as well I do agree with your sentiment, especially as it seems that Greece has been deliberately excluded from the detailed part of the map.
I do believe however that for Greece to be properly represented we need a dedicated Aegean Sea map. A map specifically focused on the relentless conflict between Greece and Turkey. It seems like a logical choice considering the aircraft lineup we currently have in DCS (F-4, F-16, CH-47, AH-64) and the ones coming shortly (A-7, C-130).
Now to be fair I do understand that such a map may create a lot of controversy, as there is a lot of politics involved, especially since both countries are BLUFOR and part of NATO. It also will probably overlap with the Syria map but it wouldn't be the first time such a thing has occurred.
Now to return to the point as I have digressed quite a bit. It would certainly be nice to see at the very least some airports in the Greek area, such as Makedonia airport in Thessaloniki be added as it would most definitely add a level of operational complexion to the map and would definitely make more appealing to us Greeks.
