i fast tested this yesterday in a su25t freeflight mission.
140fps max settings (medium shadows) no msaa
100fps same settings x2 msaa
80fps same settings x4 msaa (From here an on bulding in the distance stop flashing and its playable lol)
70fps same settings x8 msaa
quite a cut on the x2 lol. was impressed. btw at least on that free mission flying around in the town down there, ill never go behind 70 so i could play on x8 aswell (of course prolly only me at 1080p 60hz display). (and on that mission).
nonetheless i think it was a rough tradeoff. might need some work.

sadly cant import as individual, got a page here that does it for us (like an amazon with shipping and everything to your door) but it cost more than buying it here lol. like more than $1000 the warthog hotas.

i just had my new i7 7700k @4.2 and its never max out at max settings :/ dont understand if i need to overclock to win more fps (really dont needed them but whatever)...
I guess not to overclock unless 100% cpu usage its happening?

I just broke my credit cards FINALLY steping out of the hardware crawling ive been my whole life (always upgrading by bits and bits) and bought a whole new PC. hope it will last a bit longer than usual
so now, the only thing i need to be on my sause its to have a HOTAS. im using an SAITEK CYBORG FLY 5. and its utter damn shiet IMO. so inaccurate, sloppy, clunky, its has like a hard deadzone on the center so when i put some force to move it, its ends moving a lot couse it was applying resistance before start moving and when it looses, bang.
in the other hand, my country is expensive af, a warthog HOTAS its around U$D 871.79...
and Saitek X52 U$D 405.12 and ... x56 for u$d 502.56

Cant believe i can get only these piece of plastics for so much money...
with this prices im far from getting propper rudder pedals so i think a stick with wrist twist could help?
what do u think?? are these saitek x52/56 worth all that money? should i stay away from flight simming?
edit: just in a irrelevant side note, my gf traveled to Miami 2 months ago and she didnt bring anything... unbelievable. i might broke with her.

Many pilots are reporting stuttering in 2.5 under various circumstances, I guess there's still some ironing out to do.
at least for me, with this new pc, dcs 2.5 its working flawlessly. :pilotfly::joystick:

Well, thats my concern, since i had to install computer from scratch and i have to start the missions from 0, 2 weeks before 2.5 release i was unable to pass the mission 3 i think it is, when you start
mission spoiler alert.
you start on the airfield that its on emergency state for a C130 about to land on fire,
well the c130 keeps doing circles in traffic patterns and nothing happens from there
so... do anyone knows if this is fixed so i can give it another go? for now... was just 10 bucks wasted lol.-

well, i just found a system recovery option in windows 10 itselfs, took like 30-45 mins (on ssd) to reboot but it was like a fresh install :)! its workinggg

I cannot see how it would be processor related... As far as I know you cannot 'update' processor drivers in windows, since windows 3.1 I never saw any issue with processor drivers.
One possible issue is that windows would become 'unlicensed' because of an important system change, but I'm running an unlicensed windows 10 and see no performance problems.
But of course I could be wrong. Windows never ceases to amaze me even after all these years :glare:
If you open task manager and check cpu usage, is it maxed out? I guess it should be no more than 50% for all cores.
Thrashed video drivers could definitely be it, did it fix your problem?
not fixed, im getting same or lower frames than fx8350 but even if im trying to play pubg right now, im having massive stutterings... like 90fps but all stutered. horribly, unplayable xD.
Ill try to uninstall geforce drivers again and try from 0 .
gpu 80% cpu 60% most of the time...
edit: trying with ark, usually got 90fps in the settings im running, and now i have 30 fps only standing still, if i start moving my mouse, the frames drops to 5 fps and gpu its at 10% on that time, and cpu at 30% aprox or less.--

hope you guys know a way to clean mi windows 10 without reinstalling it?
My new i7 7700k (coming from fx 8350) its holding the pc back i think its for the old drivers on the PC.
Im getting less FPS than before the upgrade, so clearly something its not quite right.
I cant find my USB so no fresh w10 for now... any ideas to overcome this?? im in a hurry :joystick:

edit: geforce experience is acting weird like there is no driver so im installing it... perhaps is that? lol
edit 2: Running 7700k + 1070ti + 16gb 2400 ddr4 ram

lol 0,30euros lmao. i was talking with a friend last night about how cheap electricity cost here, and i told him to grab his last bill and he is paying U$D 0.02 per kWh haha. he said me to bring my pc to his house for mining. Bit, im impressed of how this is going. Pulling like $7-8 a day with both cards and my cpu. and im not forgetting about my new +100fps in every game with the 1070ti haha. indeed a nice free upgrade (for now). Hope market grows or atleast stays like this. 1070ti its on a 6 months credit... for now, it is paying itself. ♥

I'm not following this path. I am already polluting the environment more than enough. People who do, have already earned my contempt. Wasting precious energy without any reason or benefit (except for a few bucks) is just plain silly - globally speaking.
Lets dont start to talk about energy based profits in general...

Im still on profits so im keeping on it. both cards together are paying my 1070ti. so we are still riding the horse. gotta say im having lot of fun even in the one click miner im using lol. its like interesting being on all of this.
When profits are in negative, pluggin out i guess.
