  2. Hej So I have an airfield, with no supplies - nothing. But I´ve set up a FARP on one of the parkingspots. That is: HMMWV, Tanker and M818. I´ll taxi close with my F-18 (4m) to the FARP-units but I cannot select anything from the crew. The backstory is that the "red" is attacking the field and if they manage to kill the FARP I cannot rearm/refuel. So I better keep them alive if I dont want to travel 100nm to rearm/refuel.
  3. I´m getting the Dx11 Rendering error on open beta and todays new patch. Tried both old and new version of the mod. Will I just sit tight or are there any known solutions already?
  4. I experience the same thing IF the trim is not set correctly to your loadout. Whenever that happens though, I use the trim to "lift off" instead of the stick.
  5. Thanks for the quick answer!! It was the "Weapon Designate" I missed out of. So stupid. I didn´t get the diamond before, now I do and it works perfectly well :)
  6. Hej I´ve added an additional WP in flight, set the bombs to go Auto-mode. But it seems the Auto-mode does not pick up my manual WP and I am unable to drop my bombs. The HUD won´t display the lines, countdowns and stuff. It works perfectly fine if I set the WP in the editor. Am I doing something wrong here or is it supposed to be that way?

  8. Thank you sir! Now i understand the issue. I couldnt wrap my head around removing flag values because that means i need to remove them from the randomizer too. For now I solved it with a "clear flag" button instead. * MISSION START / no condition / add radio item "Mission" (flag 1), add radio item "Clear" (flag 3) * SWITCHED / flag 1 true / set flag 2 value 1-20 * SWITCHED / flag 2 true / flag 3 off * SWITCHED / flag 3 true / flag 1 off, flag 2 value 0 * ONCE / flag 2 value 1 / Run Mission 1 * ONCE / flag 2 value 2 / Run Mission 2 Now before i press "Misson" I have to clear the values with pressing "Clear". So even if I get value 1 two times in a row, I will be a ble to re-run the randomizer and hopefully get another value. Random_Mission_Test.miz

The flag didn´t want to re-trigger Should I change the Mission Start to something else?
  10. Hej I´m trying to build an arena with 20 different missions to take on. One of the missions shall be presented randomly once you press the radio item "Gimme something to do!". Current setup is like this (Trigger/Condition/Action): * Mission Start, none, add radio item flag 1 value 1 * Switched, flag 1 is true, random flag 2 value min 1 max 20 * Once, flag 2 value 1, present mission 1 * Once, flag 2 value 2, present mission 2¨ * Once, flag 2 value 3, present mission 3 .....and so on and on. It works one time, giving me a random mission. But if I press the radio item again, it won´t give me anything. So I tried something else, since I figured the radio item is dead once pressed. * Mission start, none, flag 1000 * Switched, flag 1000 is true, add radio item flag 1 value 1 * Switched, flag 1 is true, random flag 2 value min 1 max 20 * Once, flag 2 value 1, present mission 1 ......and so on. Didn´t work either. Any ideas to get this to work?
  11. Thanks for your reply! After I´ve deleted the ME folder it seems to work fine! Thanks for the help! Another question; can I somehow save my triggers done to a file and then load that in as a script instead? There is an AWEFUL alot of triggers in here now!
  12. Hi! I´m feeliing pretty new to the ME and I´ve set up a number of triggers that will add a Radio Item. However, when I clone, or even create a new, action or trigger. The actions from the previous trigger is carried over. And they are like instanced, if I edit one the other will be the same. Does anyone else have similar issues, is it a comfirmed bug or/and can I get around it somehow? Thanks //pancake
  13. Hej! I can´t find the correct location to where I should put custom kneeboards. Users/saved games.... has worked before - now it does not :S Any ideas?
  14. What have I done wrong if I did exactly that (jettison swith back to middle pos) and still cant fire away the AIM-9´s? They are selected and the gun/msl switch is on.
  15. Hej The manual state: "Sidewinders can be selected quickly by pressing the AFK quick disconnect / IR missile fast select button on the front of the throttle. Each press of the button will cycle the next selected missile. Tis cannot be used when the landing gear is extended." Especially the "each press of the button will cycle..." I have 2x Rb24J and 2xRb74 attached to the aircraft. I want to select the 74, but how do I know which one is selected. And so far, I haven´t been able to launch the 74 before the 24´s. What am I doing wrong here? The manual is so clear "each press" so what is there to do wrong is my next question..
  16. Hej This generation of HMD´s haven´t got the resolution needed for sure. Often it´s not a problem inside the cockpit, you´ll get used to it and you have the VR zoom function in DCS. But spotting planes are a nightmare if you have labels off. You will eventually spot it, but all to late ofc. Labels on, the otherhand is very, very cluttering (?) in a way does make the problem of spotting even harder. Especially in attack roles when multiple lables sit on top and next to eachother. So would it be possilbe with a mod that only creates an outline of the object and the ability to also turn the name of "the flying object" on or off? I´m not a modder or coder so I have no idea where to begin, dunno if it´s even possible. But maybe someone else, who happens to be a modder, thinks this could be someting. :helpsmilie:

  18. I did fly at 150m, and I was in ANF mode cuz I got nothing else than ordinary NAV-HUD. QFE was correct though. So as always, when you think you´re low, you´re not low enough in the Viggen :D Do you usually go into AP ATT or ATT HÖJD when levelbombing?
  19. So I´m having trouble with the level bombing. I have my WP set as a Target Point, everything set up exactly as Chucks guide. And it sais that the Circle is the point where the last bomb will fall and the dot is the first. However, the circle disapears when I unsafe, and it never moves. It´s stationary on the WP position. Is it meant to set the waypoint exactly over the last enemy tank (in this case). What if the tank moves from the intel position? How will I be able to release the bombs correctly then? And, is the HUD calculating wind effects? Or do I have to manually set it off target? (thinking of a possible CK37 input code)

  21. Hej So I´ve been fully seduced by DCS since I first tried it 4 weeks ago (reason: Viggen!) and been flying viggen since its release. However I´m looking for the next module and the F-5E Tiger II looks very intresting, and by the looks of it, quite a contrast to the Viggen. So, why do you like to fly F-5E Tiger II?
  22. EDIT: Uhm ok. I renamed all my units and moved my triggerzone a bit and now it works. The only two things I can think of is that 1/ Trigger one was just too close to the shore and no actual ship made it into it for some reason. 2/ the triggerzone intersected with the "spawning" of the tanks? Sounds like an odd reason but that was the difference. -------------------- Hej I´m building a mission with some boats in the pond heading for shore. Stop them before they get there or they will unload a bunch of angry T-90´s! However, I can´t get it to work. Ive set up a triggerzone by the shore. And the trigger looks like this: TYPE: 1 Once, no event COND: Unit Inside Zone ACTION: Group Activate. The T90 group is ticked with Late Activation. I have no idea what im doing, im actually just guessing or trying to apply some logic to it. Anyone have an idea what might be wrong?
  23. Hej In the UI-section of the controls there´s a "Zoom VR" keybinding you can use. It´s a must for flying in VR!
