  1. I have information to prove that other data link targets can be displayed under STT. Because of 1.16, I will not give information. Will this feature be added to the game in the future? In ACM, the data link target will show that this is a good start.
  2. I don't think so. It requires VMF, which uses arc-210 (DCS),and it is arc-210 in the game.
  3. USN still uses ter-9 / A
  4. The F/A-18 can carry ITER in a variety of data, but not in games. Is that reasonable?
  5. First, ADV is only a Advisory. And the area shows Warning/Caution/Advisory. Occlusion exists in reality. In the game, it's the whole shield.
  6. MSI does not require direct radar scanning. MSI includes data links and ATFLIR automatically tracks targets.
  7. Under LTWS of RWS, MSI displays HAFU, trackfile other than radar contribution. The MSI that appears in the game seems to be the opposite.
  8. There is no merger, and in LTWS you can distinguish formation targets. Although there is only one trackfile when it is particularly close, the trackfile number can accurately inform several targets.
  9. For the old INS system, the alignment time is more than 8 minutes (ASN-130). The new INS system (ASN-139) will be ready in five minutes. ASN-130 leveling takes at least three minutes, while ASN-139 takes only five seconds.
  10. The Elevation of TGT/ORP, o/s are MSL or HAE (WGS). The source of input values is distinguished by MSL and WGS. This is not a complicated problem. Now it should be WIP. Errors are understandable. Dynamic launch zones, loading PP plans from MUMI, which is what we expect.
  11. RTS XXX,which is not ready now. All traces, AACQ exits are problematic.
  12. yep. But that's not the point of discussion. The point is that AIM-120 and AIM-7 cannot be guided simultaneously.
  13. I can't understand why APG-73 can find JSOW at 20 nautical miles and sa-15 at 5 nautical miles. The SAM of DCS needs to be improved urgently.
  14. I'm happy to see the upgrade of MI-8, whether it's adding missiles or improving avionics, or even becoming MI-17.
  15. For HIGH PULSE-REPETITION FREQUENCY TRACK MODE without burst ranging, its value is flase. Burst ranging is a more accurate numerical value. Burst ranging occurs occasionally. PDI is a special HPRF mode, which may use FMR (FREQUENCY MODULATION RANGING).
  16. Basic MSI symbols will serve as the basis for TWS and RAID. This is a very complicated working.
  17. I'm glad to see the continuous improvement of HARM. Thank you for the production team. According to public information, HARM coverage frequency ranges from 500 Mhz to 20 Ghz. Airborne fire radar is in this range (X BAND). Although I don't think HARM can effectively attack air targets (airborne radar has narrow beams and low sidelobes). But there were hits (Gulf War, b-52). So in the future, will HARM display and attack air targets be increased in the game?
  18. Right. There are two kinds of PDI for F-18, one is compatible (with burst ranging) and the other is full (without burst ranging). The latter only appeared after the launch of AIM-7.
  19. AGL needs to be converted to MSL or HAE. It's no problem if it's MC automatic conversion. If there is no conversion, that would be wrong. In UFC input, DCS lacks pages to enter HAE. It's like SMS lacks wind OSB.
  20. Now WACQ is CAGE. Will TDC be used to change the uncage mode of scanning position in the future?
  21. Before discussing, please make two points clear: 1. AIM-7 is a semi-active guided missile (radar must be in PDI); 2. AIM-120 is terminal active guidance missile (radar can be MED/Hi PRF under STT/TWS). Based on the above two points. Under STT, alternate launches of AIM-7 and AIM-120 may occur as follows: 1. AIM-7 launches first and AIM-120 launches later. (1) Assuming that after launching AIM-7, switching AIM-120 (weapon switching button), the radar will maintain PDI. Then, the subsequent AIM-120 launch conditions may not be constituted, because the launch data need to be written to the missile before launching. In PDI, radar can't have ranging and can't get data. If the saved target data is used, AIM-120 will be launched under inertial navigation (without data link, it will not be able to update the target data), or will search for the target directly using the missile-borne seeker. (2) Assuming that after launching AIM-7, switching AIM-120 (weapon switching button), the radar will not maintain PDI. Then, after switching to AIM-120, AIM-7 will lose its guidance illumination immediately ( switches to MED/HI PRF,the radar exits PDI ). AIM-120 operates normally (data link works normally). 2. AIM-120 launches first and AIM-7 launches later. (1) Suppose that after launching the AIM-120, the AIM-7 (weapon switching button) is switched, and the radar will be switched to PDI. Because there is no ranging, after switching AIM-7, AIM-120 immediately loses its data link, and AIM-120 guides itself (inertia, monopulse, active seeker). If the memory trackfile is used in the data link, AIM-120 will get the updated data of the memory trackfile (radar calculation) in up to 8 seconds. (2) Assuming that after launching AIM-120, switching AIM-7 (weapon switching button), radar will not switch to PDI. Then the normal launching conditions of AIM-7 will not be constituted. If AIM-7 is launched forcibly, it will enter the flood mode. AIM-120 lost data link updates and AIM-7 entered flood mode. These are all possible scenarios. I don't have enough information to prove which one is right. I hope someone can come to the right conclusion. In the game, AIM-120 and AIM-7 can be guided at the same time without any conflict. I don't think it's right. It is hoped that these discussions will be of some benefit to future improvements in guidance systems.
  22. JDAM, latitude and longitude must be defined in WGS-84 coordinate system with elevation given by MSL or HAE. H, h, N in the graph represent the relationship between them. h=HAE H=MSL N=Geoid Height
  23. JSOW-c uses ATR. it does not use men in the loop. ATA comes from SLAM-ER.
