Hi folks ! Here also.I get the vapor at anytime, and I do not really appreciate how it looks.I fly mostly from the outside wiew, I love to look at this magnificent airplane, but I do not enjoy the vapor effect. Do someone know How to disabled this effect ?maybe editing some config sys ? thanks if you get a answer.

Hello all , well finally I could sort out this issue , after few hours of hard try ..... Since the begenin I had to configurate manually the maping for the joystick with openaplpha,I do know why, but after the first flight it's OK for all the next ones.This is what I did with the Mi-8 , but I did not notice there are two models, one called "simu" and a othe one called "simplifié" (easyer) in fact I had to map both models, and now all is OK :-) Thanks all for your help , pogo

Hello Wolf , pour info j'ai finalement réussi à comprendre ce qui se passe et à le faire fonctionner. Avec openalpha,pour chaque nouveau module , je dois configurer manuellement le maping de la touche des gaz , et après ça marche,il n'y a plus besoin de le faire. sauf pour le Mi-8 . j'ai compris à force s'essayer qu'il y a en fait deux modèles de Mi-8 , le "simu" et le "simplifié" et il fallait configurer les touches pour les deux ! maintenant c'est bon . Salut Wolf , merci pour ta réponse , j'ai tout essayé à partir du jeu déjà lancé , ya rien à faire , c'est incompréhensible, le simulateur reconnait mon joystick,et il fonctionne avec les autres avions/hélicos , mais pas avec le Mi-8 ..... avec DCS 1 , aucun problème, le pitch fonctionne à merveille. je pense qu'il faut bidouiller un fichier config. dans le répertoire, mais je vais attendre encore un peu voir si quequ'un à rencontré le même problème. Yes for both ! I can see the square and I can move it with the slider,and also the engines are running . When sitting in the cockpit, I can see the rudder pedal moving, the controle stick moving, but not the pitch . I guess it is a bug that need to be fixed with a patch .

Hello Pocket, yes, I can do this in the assignement menu , I can select the slider and also I can set the reverse or normal position in the calibrate window,but when I go back to the Mi-8 , the slider has no effect .....?

Thank for help Trev , but I do not think it is a driver issue,because my joystick works fine with others modules, even with the "gazelle" helicopter.this concerne only the Mi - 8 .....

Well maybe it looks confused,sorry , but yes, I am talking about the collective , (to go up and down) , and it uses the same button than the throttle to a airplane . am I right ? the cyclic is for going forward,backward,left and right . the sidewinder has the main axis joystick,plus a small slider on the side ,that can be used for throttle or pitch .

Hello all , I am new here,and I discovered DCS few weeks ago , until now I was used to play with FS9 ..... so I really enjoy this fantastic Sim. I did buy few modules, and they all work fine, but I just have a small issue with the Mi-8. with DCS 1 all is OK , but with Nevada,I am unable to activate the pitch control to my joystick (sidewinder force) I tried almost two hours , playing with differents settings , but nothing works.....:( If I go to the panel assignement ,I can select the slider, but in the game it does not work, The yaw , roll and wiews are OK , it is only the pitch I can not activate. Any idea ? it looks like a bug or something ..... thanks if someone can help me ! See you , pogo

Bonjour à tous , je viens d'acheter le MI 8 , et il fonctionne très bien avec DCS 1, mais avec le Nevada ,je n'arrive pas à activer le pitch (pas collectif) avec mon joystck microsoft . je peux le sélectionner dans l'attribution des commandes, et je peux également voir le mouvement du curseur dans la fenêtre de calibration,mais dans le cockpit il ne fonctionne pas :(le reste est OK . est-ce qu'il y a une touche qui doit être activée ou quelquechose d'autre ? j'ai essayé plus d'une heure ,mais sans résultat.
