Hello, i just orderd the mfg crosswind rudders. At the moment I am using the thrustmaster warthog and therefore I also think about adding some warthog extensions. In the near future I want to upgrade to a virpil System or at least a virpil base. Is it still possible to use the mfg extensions with the virpil base/stick? Best regards

Bin via VR in die DCS Welt gekommen und seit einem Jahr begeisterter Flieger. Immersion und fluggefühl sind natürlich 1a. Aber so nach einem Jahr Nutzung fehlt mir einfach die gute Auflösung, sowie die Möglichkeit Notizen zu machen. Wie seht ihr das? VR all the way oder nutzt ihr noch das gute alte Track ihr? Spiele mit dem Gedanken mir zusätzlich für gewisse Szenarien (jtac etc) ein Track or System noch zuzulegen. Allerdings ist der Preis ja echt nicht ohne :/

Wie schützt ihr eure Rift Linsen? Hab zwar von den vr Lens lab gehört, würde das aber eher vermeiden wollen, da viele berichten, dass es Verzerrungen im Bild gibt. An sich gehe ich unglaublich vorsichtig mit der Rift um, habe aber Angst, dass ich beim reinigen der Linse (mit mikrofasertuch und Blasebalg) doch mal aus versehen ein Kratzer rein mache. Wären Kratzer dann deutlich im sichtend zu erkennen ?

Check cloud density. There is a issue with rift and cloud density between 5-9. My fps goes Low as hell. Density 1-4 and 10 seems Fine .

Hello, i was wondering how do you take notes during a flight in vr ? For Example 9line from jtac, Taxi runways when Communicating with ground control. I tried to look through the small opening in the oculus but it is very hard for me to take proper note or write something down. I can barely See anything. And advice on writing something down while in vr? Best regards

Überprüfe mal die Wolken settings in den einzelnen Missionen. Hab selber ziemlich lange gerätselt, warum meine fps im Keller sind. Wolken 6,7,8,9 ziemlich unspielbar. 1-5 und 10 butterweich. Ansonsten habe ich in Nevada auch bessere Performance. Insbesondere beim Überflug las Vegas geht die fps trotz der zahlreichen Gebäude nicht in den Keller.

Thank you all guys. I think i figured it out. I focused on showtimes advice regarding the clouds (thanks dude :) ). I tried various cloud settings. 6,7,8,9 are hitting fps hard ( nearly 20 -30fps) . Below 6 and 10 is Fine. That is why i get shitty fps on some Multiplayer servers and servers without clouds like aerobatics are running smooth.

I tried to repair dcs and now at least in single player i get good fps with the settings adviced from the tutorial. I turned them down a bit more. But still in multiplayer i get bad fps. For example when i join open conflict server my fps drops to 20.

Hello together, i think my cpu is to "weak". Whenever the objects counter goes high my fps gets smashed. I tried to edit the graphics.lua and high.lua in order to reduce objects but nothing seems to change. Is there a good tutorial for vr? Best regards

Hello together, I am playing dcs Vr only in the rift. At the Moment i cant manage to get stable fps. When i launch the training mission where you have to take off with the a10 and i am turning right and flying over the city my fps drops to 30. Even worse in multiplayer. I get only 20 fps standing at the Runway. I turned everything off like shadows and trees. Visibility to Medium. Texture Medium. Terrain low. Pd 1.2 . Msaa at 4. aa is off.no mirrors, no civ traffic, water to low. My Rig: 5820k at 4,2 ghz 980ti 32 gig ram Ssd So many users here are going crazy with the pixel density etc. And they still maintain stable fps...? What am i doing wrong? Am i missing something? I checked my cpu and one Core is at 100% during flying....is my cpu so Bad????? Thanks in advance for any advice :) Best regards

UPDATE: I got a reply from star force protection. They found the error. Now leatherneck needs to create a patch in order to get things working. Anybody else who got the same problem? According to the error report the hardware binding parameter is changed and it is: virtual RAM size. It might have happened if you have upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 and have not deactivated your serial number. After the upgrade Windows 10 will recount virtual RAM size on its own and this error 3204 can happen. We have introduced a new binding object which is physic RAM size which counts only physical RAM size on modules installed in motherboard. We advise all our clients to shift on this new binding object if they used their previous protection projects and it is enabled by default right now. You can contact again Leatherneck support and ask to make a patch with a new binding object. You would not need to deactivate your license, just install the patch.

Hello, on sunday i purchased the Mig21 Module. I installed it and activated it on monday. Everything worked. So far so good. Yesterday i wanted to Play again but the protection system told me that my activation is not valid anymore due to hardware changes. I did not change anything! I contacted leatherneck support and within 30 minutes i got a reply (thumbs up for this fast support). Leatherneck told me to delete registry and activate the module again. The solution worked. But then i restarted my pc and the Same problem occured again. The protection system again told me to activate Mig21 Module. So i am stuck in a loop. Everytime i restart my pc i have to activate again. I already wasted 4 activations.... I again contacted leatherneck support. They told me that it is my fault (because of my hardware) and further more they can not reset my activations and i should contact star Force because they can not help me. I have a few questions: I am the customer and i spent money on a product in order to get a working product. Why i have to solve this problem? What Kind of customer care is this? This Problem seems to exist since 2014! And why the support told me that it is not possible to reset my activations??? In this thread it seems possible to reset activations or that one can get a new key if needed. So at the moment i can not try to solve this Problem because everytime i do so i will lose an activation....and my activations are gone for ever according to the support. So i would be really happy if i can get more support from leatherneck. Is here anybody from leatherneck who can help me? Or is here anybody who had the same problem and has a working solution?
