  1. Update: Ran perfectly for a day. Loads the main menu just fine and can change settings etc. BUT... Now back to freezing my whole computer when loading any mission.
  2. I'm not on in the evenings Harley. Can you fly during the day on the weekends?
  3. I'm usually on from around 7:00 AM to approx. 4:00 PM CST every day.
  4. @ Harley Davidson: Sorry for the misunderstanding. There is no longer any need to roll back to any older version to fly our campaigns. Please see posts #59 and #63 in this thread.
  5. Yes. See post #63 in this thread.
  6. Understood. Lot's of guy's I've flown with have the same problem. I have the same problem. Seems to come and go for me. Lately I've been lucky. If mine goes I just respawn the next time I land and I get my sound back.
  7. Good to finally get you in a Sabre tman. Fair Warning! The Sabre can be habit forming.
  8. @tmansteve: Good morning. Was on all day yesterday so don't know what happened. Sorry we missed. It's 7:30 A:M Sunday morning as I type this; about 1:30 P:M for you I think. I'm on TeamSpeak right now and plan to be on for the next eight to nine hours.
  9. @Wazoo: I'm typically on TeamSpeak from approx. 7:00 A:M to approx. 4:00 P:M Central time every day. Not usually on in the evenings. Looking forward to meeting both of you. @tmansteve: Often there will not be a "server" up for you to find. Best if you look for me on TeamSpeak. Again, please see post #63.
  10. @tmansteve - please see post #63. If you see my mike muted in teamspeak just poke me.
  11. @tmansteve: It is an ongoing problem as in it's been going on for years. Goes back at least as far as version 1.5.3. Do yourself a favor and don't spend your valuable time trying to fix it. It's not your hardware or software it's a bug in the game. There is a thread about it somewhere on the forums. All we can do is tolerate it until they fix it. Is it annoying? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely. The Sabre is that much fun to fly.
  12. we are all running open beta only. easy to change.
  13. @tmansteve: No need to do any rolling back to an older version. See post #59. We are back to flying the latest open beta version. No worries about being "rusty". We have a practice mission designed to help quickly and enjoyably knock the rust off and I'd be happy to run it for you any time. Just jump on TeamSpeak when you want to fly and I'll get you set up. LRRP
  14. Hi Hunter: I don't leave a server up if no one is flying. If you want to fly my missions you must find me on TeamSpeak. I tend to be on TeamSpeak early morning CST until who knows when almost every day. Just jump on TeamSpeak and I'll fire up a server. TeamSpeak info in post #1. Bring a friend or two. Here is some version 2.5.x gameplay video @cromhunt made recently. LRRP
  15. Not the "only" issue but one of the issues and this fixed it. Thanks for the tip. Works great. LRRP
  16. That is a very generous offer sir. Thank you. However, the needed testing has just been completed.
  17. Good news Robert. With the kind help of cromhunt over the last few days we were able to determine that the A.I. in the latest open beta version is working well enough to use. There are still some issues but the major deal breaker has been fixed. So, this whole thing about rolling back to an earlier version will no longer be needed. I'll be hosting on the current open beta version from now on. When you get home and want to fly just jump on TeamSpeak with us. (TeamSpeak info in first post)
  18. No problem Robert, I'm always happy to host. Question is what version. If testing with cromhunt shows the A.I. is still broken then only the older version can offer the good "gameplay" these missions can provide so you'd need to be willing to roll back a copy of your current version. That's really no big deal at all. For me, it's all about the gameplay. We put literally thousands of hours into building these missions to make them fun to fly. Running them with lobotomized Mig pilots is something I just can't bring myself to do. Better to let DCS keep working on squashing the bugs in 2.5 and just enjoy the missions in an older version that works. Yeah, the trees aren't as pretty but that's about it.
  19. Hello cromhunt: Thanks for the offer to help test. This Saturday, June 9 at noon GMT would work perfect for me. Please let me know if that works for you. Server name is F-86 PvE Campaign Co-op
  20. F-86 test pilot needed to test A.I. behavior in 2.5.1 Well Harle I don't know for sure. A big problem has been differing A.I. response to the server host vs. a client in the missions. An A.I. Mig-15 that would do well against the server host in recent patches would go stupid against a client who joined the server. So I made a quick little air start test mission to check this every time an update came out, but I can't fly it myself as I need to host while someone who joins the server as a client dogfights a Mig. My friend Bader, the O.P. of this thread, was my test pilot for all development of these missions and would fly this test whenever a new update came out. Unfortunately, Bader has had to stop flying due to real life making increased demands on his time. So I need a volunteer to fly it. Min. time required approx. 30 mins. If any Sabre pilot out there would like to help out please post here. We can agree on a time and I will put a server up.
  21. Hey guys: Yes, still running the same version - 1.5.3.53279. Have been on a summer break from flying but happy to get the server up if anyone out there would like to fly the missions. Easiest way to get started would be to catch me on TeamSpeak, (info in post #1) and I will talk you through getting set up.
