Hey there, I didn't make a report for a moment, here's one from my last session: Seen on beta version (2.5.2.18736) Visual: - Raycast shows trees as white like water making radar unusable on ground surface (Ok on water as it is fully white) - On the radar, the corner-layers of the sweeping indicator are visible (little white lines) - Radar reflections on the HUD. - Maverick sight position (weird look compared as before - TV not at the same place). - No reflections on gauges in cockpit. - Panel lights are not 10% as good as they were on 1.5. - RWR indicator colors seems wrong (to bright, not as 1.5) Audio: - Master mode selector doesn't make sound when used with shortcuts (work only when used with the mouse). - Slav SI and Hojd CISI does make sound only in one way when used with a shortcut. (work properly when used with mouse) Still pending things (?) : - Mirrors - PBR and updated gauges (reflections?)? - Pilot's body - IFF doesn't turn on? The radar/trees thing is -to me- the most annoying bug, as it makes the planes really less efficient for land attacks.   4. Hello there, Just a little question this time: I did make a mission but only players with french version of the game can read the in-game briefing. In the editor I see that I can choose different images regarding of the client language, but I don't see where I'm supposed to enter the briefing text for each different version of the client (DE client, FR client, EN client,...) Do you know where I can find that in the editor? Thank you very much by advance. Roll

  6. Hello there, With my squadron we would like to do some multiplauer missions with only one carrier and be able to run it with something like 8 to 10 F/A-18C on the deck. I can't find a way to do it in the editor as the carrier seems really limited in "client" number and it's not possible to spaw with the wing folded. Which result in huge mess when spawning. It seems to work only with statics F/A18C, like on the "instant" mission ED proposed. Will this be fonctionnal anytime soon? Is there a script or something like this to make the F18 spawn with folded wings? :book: Thanks you very much by advance and have a good day! -IRRE- Rolluptito
  7. Hey! I have a little question for you. :) Maybe it's stupid, but how did you do to have the F18 spawned with folded wings on the carrier? I can't find the option to fold them as default.
  8. Hello everyone, I agree with Holton181. Mainly, the frustration is because there's no sharing and no view of what is done except for roughly an object every two month. ED really understood how to communicate now (we see it for some months with F18 and Persian Gulf Map) maybe after seeing Heatblur or Razbam doing it with great success and the mass of happy pilots following their news. Right now it just looks like Ugra-Media took their 50 bucks and returned in the deepest room of their cave. I KNOW that it's not the case. But it's how it looks for most pilots. My complete squadron (50+ pilots...) is really annoyed with that. I try to tame them and tell them to be patient, as you do NineLine, but sometimes it's a hard job. :D I know it's the same in other squadrons I know... I think it's a thing of today's time: you can't work in complete shadow anymore when you do that kind of stuff. Not in "early access" era. Not in 2018. Or it's going to be a commercial suicide. Ugra-Media has to understand that if people buy their product because they believe in the project in the alpha phase and it looks like it's will never be developed, they won't be able to sell well their new products, as air combat simulation world is a really small one and everybody is talking to each other. As it is know, I know a lot of pilots (my whole squadron is the best exemple I can see) who won't buy Syria map knowing that it does come by the same devs that did Normandy. Not before it is finished. I seriously think UM could gain the support of everyone by just sharing a bit of the progress and what they do, even if it's juste once a week, even if it is just talking of what their difficulties are, so it doesn't look so dead from the outside. This is my point of view, and I seriously wish success for/to Ugra-Media.

I think it's mainly because Caucasus is new and was waited for years, the other reason can be that you can't have many maps on your server at the same time because they are heavy and to install them all at the same time will require a server that costs 2 to 3 times the cost of a classic one. So people who has server probably did remove Normandy & Nevada to free the space to install Caucasus, no? With the new licence system, can we install/uninstall a map without consuming an activation? An idea to reduce the server cost could be to have installed only the map you need... It is annoying if you want to change often but could work and that can make my team save up to 400€ per year. It's the extra-cost we will have to pay if we want Caucasus AND Persian Gulf installed at the same time on our server... Regardless of the cost of the map itself.

That would be great, as a second map on our server will already DOUBLE our annual expenses because of room on hard drives of our server, if we also have to buy the maps for the server side, that seems a damn lot of expenses to run new maps online... I don't know how it's gonna be on servers side with two/three differents maps regarding hard drive space though... It's probably going to be a little mess.

We're running a server for our team and we're worrying about having to buy all the maps for our server as there is no real dedicated server available. Will there be a solution for that?   16. Hello there, I have a little question for you regarding Viggen's radar in 2.5: Are the trees supposed to look like water (fully white) on the radar? I know that you use a system that really scan the ground, is that due to the new trees and is a bug or is it the final thing? :book: Right now I can't differenciate trees, rivers and sea.   21. Yes it does, in Normandy soil can be really dusty-whity. ;) In fact, that will be way better like on their last WIP. :) And for the airfields with SMT, they did put burlap under the metalic grids. Which is pretty much of a "sandy" color too.
  22. Hello there! I wonder when will be the next big update for the Normandy map? :) When I see this -and it's an almost old video- I see that it doesn't look like what I have in game right now. Airfield textures seems really good here. :p Or And to compare this is how airfields look right nows: I'd be glad to hear about the project and have some news. ;) Rolluptito

  24. Same on Mig-21 radar. There is corrections to do on almost all cockpits due to the new lighting system I guess.
