A dead horse at this point but i agree with the above. The small touches that are left to make it very good and put most, if not all of the planes that are available on "The other pretty scenery" sim to shame.

At this point with so many users still having this issue after years. Remaking the sound from scratch would be my choice of action.

Yeah, it it's a shame for such an otherwise beautifully made plane. They did a great job on many things like external model, cockpit and engine sound...

Time for a crowdfund to continue developing the yak?

Hopefully with Vulkan, more cores will be more important then single core clock speed as it is now. I have a feeling that an AMD build to prep for Vulkan might be a wise choice. That is unless Intel drops a competitor to the 3600/3700X at a similar price out of the blue.

Lots of reports of x-axis issues including mine. and loose connectors. Mine is on the shelf because of this problem (early model). When the upgrade kit comes to EU i will consider getting it.

Steer info and range to wp is missing on hud in nav mode for me. The route is shown on moving map as it should. It will not change waypoints in auto mode either. From hot or cold start from parking. Been scratching my head if i'm doing something wrong.

My guess is because the jet is very new, GPS will be primary, and INS rarely used. I might be wrong.

Well, I kinda agree with you. The question however stands. Some of you seem to "like" the pedal work required and are fine with it. However comparing it to other jets we have of older and newer generations with and without fbw. This one is a handful on the roll for me and others making threads about the strong yaw moment. That is what is making this question interesting. I mean the Viggen, almost pedals off to keep straight, M2000 small toe taps to keep lined up, F-16 large pedal movement and holding it deflected to keep pointed down the runway in very moderate winds without Nws engaged. Or maby we are plain wrong and the F16 is very much a stick and rudder aircraft on the ground?

You are right, you push them the same way, and that is where the similarities end.

Torque effect, gyroscopic effects, prop wash over control surfaces etc. Different technique.
