At this point with so many users still having this issue after years. Remaking the sound from scratch would be my choice of action.
-
Saved? But of course. We're not using them yet, we're just sharpening them now ;) :D
We're out of pitchforks, they are all being used in the F-16 threads, Two weeks without an update??!! how dare you.... :music_whistling: :D
-
Is it possible to slave it to the HSI now? And will other features like storing setup be implemented?
-

I would get a refund if it was possible. Last year we was told the Yak would be focused on in January, which then moved to 'all our modules will be out of EA by the end of the year' and that could mean anything, who knows if the things will be fixed and implemented.
Yeah, it it's a shame for such an otherwise beautifully made plane. They did a great job on many things like external model, cockpit and engine sound...
-
Bump, why has this not being verified yet?
Time for a crowdfund to continue developing the yak?
-
Any news on updated interior engine sound for this beauty?

As you seem to be in DK i would recommend my home town https://www.norwegianaviationmuseum.com/ in Bodø. A bonus is of course the surrounding area and military airbase with F16´s operating daily right by the museum.

"CEII P-47 motor power tweak"

A class 205 thumper turbo recording would be great, turbo size looks similar

Hopefully with Vulkan, more cores will be more important then single core clock speed as it is now.
I have a feeling that an AMD build to prep for Vulkan might be a wise choice. That is unless Intel drops a competitor to the 3600/3700X at a similar price out of the blue.

still waiting, it is really disappointing.
Indeed, This and the bad sounds stops it from being enjoyable.

Press the FAF osb button.

U can select WPT01 manually, the the steering Infos should be displayed (Make sure that U have loaded the DTC first). WPT00 is used for INS alignment only, not a navigation steering point, so no steering info is displayed.
TOT is displayed by ΔT format, it may not very useful for current DCS battlefield , so its still under discussing whether it should be changed or not .
I assumed it would go to wp1 after liftoff in auto mode, so that was it. Thanks.

Lots of reports of x-axis issues including mine. and loose connectors. Mine is on the shelf because of this problem (early model). When the upgrade kit comes to EU i will consider getting it.
-
Steer info and range to wp is missing on hud in nav mode for me. The route is shown on moving map as it should. It will not change waypoints in auto mode either. From hot or cold start from parking. Been scratching my head if i'm doing something wrong.

What's PIO?
Pilot Induced Oscillation. Overcompensating and starting a swing motion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilot-induced_oscillation
-
Over controlling and entering PIO's from what i could tell, Practice anticipating aircraft movement and using small inputs, it's what makes it fun. :joystick:

Was the wind acting on the tailwheel thing ever fixed?. Been in the hangar for months because of it.
-
My guess is because the jet is very new, GPS will be primary, and INS rarely used. I might be wrong.

A couple of ww2 birds to complete before we see any love for this one im afraid.

No, not really. If you need to yaw right, add right pressure. If you need to yaw left, add left pressure. The problem with the sim is that you lack the feedback, both in the pedal and your body.
Some people make some of the stick and rudder of flying sound a lot harder than it really is.
Well, I kinda agree with you. The question however stands. Some of you seem to "like" the pedal work required and are fine with it. However comparing it to other jets we have of older and newer generations with and without fbw. This one is a handful on the roll for me and others making threads about the strong yaw moment. That is what is making this question interesting. I mean the Viggen, almost pedals off to keep straight, M2000 small toe taps to keep lined up, F-16 large pedal movement and holding it deflected to keep pointed down the runway in very moderate winds without Nws engaged. Or maby we are plain wrong and the F16 is very much a stick and rudder aircraft on the ground?
-
Not really. You've got to keep the nose straight either way.
You are right, you push them the same way, and that is where the similarities end.
-
I don't see why not, both require the same technique.
Torque effect, gyroscopic effects, prop wash over control surfaces etc. Different technique.

winter update still on track? (yak-52 candlelit vigil)

A dead horse at this point but i agree with the above. The small touches that are left to make it very good and put most, if not all of the planes that are available on "The other pretty scenery" sim to shame.
