Is a 4790K a bottleneck? Intel Core i7-4790K (Clock speed at 100%) with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 (Clock speed at 100%) x1 will produce 51.44% of CPU bottleneck on 1080p resolution Everything over 10% is considered as bottleneck. die Taktrate zu erhöhen alleine bringt da auch nix mehr, da die ganze Architektiur des 4790K einfach zu veraltet ist. zB selbst ich mit meinem 6700K und der RTX 2060 Super habe einen Flaschenhals, im Endeffekt muss das jeder selber wissen ob er diese Leistungseinschränkung eingehen will aber in deinem Fall wär sie einfach zu hoch. kaufst Dir aber für die RTX 3090 einen I7 11700K sieht die Geschichte dann ganz anders aus, da hättest die volle Leistung.

das problem wird aber sein wenn du mit deinem in die jahre gekommenen 4790K zB ne RTX 3090 oder sonst irgendeine 30XX GPU verbaust wirst nen gewaltigen flaschenhals haben vom CPU/Mainboard aus und dir wird die ganze power von der 30XX gar nix bringen weil die power nicht durch den flaschenhals durchkommt... nur so nebenbei angemerkt

for cooling I will use a ASUS ROG Strix LC 360 RGB water cooler, I think it should be more than enough.

for a simple driver update you should not use DDU ! from Nvidia forum written by DDU developer: -DDU should be used when having a problem uninstalling / installing a driver or when switching GPU brand. -DDU should not be used every time you install a new driver unless you know what you are doing.

found a windows 10 setting that may could improve overall game stability and performance.

updating to latest Nvidia Driver solved this problem for me.

hi I have also a Trackir and I do use the Nvidia Control Panel to limit the FPS to 60 in game. set the frame limiter in the Nvidia Settings:

give you an advice sell this garbage on ebay and get a T.16000M FCS Flight Pack from Thrustmasters, it's half the price of a Saitek X56 Rhino HOTAS + Pedals and has twice the quality. did run into same problem as you guys few weeks ago, now I am really happy that I decided to buy me a high quality Thrustmasters Controller.

reverse all Nvidia tweaking and setting to driver default, most of them do have a placebo effect and won't work with DCS they can even worse the game image experience, like as you describe. disable also vsync and use instead the nvidia frame limiter with a setting to 60 try that and report back. I do also use a Nvidia GPU and TrackIr 5 and do not have any problem like you describe.

no the whole screen does go black for few milliseconds several times and that is very annoying watch here:

DCS 2.5.5.32533 Open Beta common ED ... flickering is back again worked so flawless in the latest few open betas and now it is back again !!!

Ja, benutze einen vernünftigen Texteditor wie z.B. https://notepad-plus-plus.org/ und nicht den schrott von Microsoft namens Wordpad!
