One thing I noticed while it was crashing consistently was I was flying the Community A4. When I got tired of crashing to desktop every couple of minutes I switched to the F16 and the game crashes stopped. I am curious if the Scooter got broke with any of the new patches. I was also trying to fly on a MP server so there is no telling what was going on. I will give the gpu driver a go just to check that off the list. Thanks for the suggestion Flappie

Not sure what is causing this. Just updated the latest Beta patch yesterday and now my game is crashing at random while flying on MP servers. Haven't tried in SP. Checked the Game Crash help and I am getting an error not on the list "dx11backend.dll" I have done both the fast repair and the slow repair. All my driver's have been updated. dcs.log-20240120-234852.zip

I second that. Would be awesome to have the stomping ground that the A-10 and Frogfoot were designed to fight in. Plus it would be awesome for the helos. And CA. And... well, all of it :)

iWarthog was removed from the AppStore for some reason :( I have it on my iPhone but not my iPad :( TS, Are there any versions compatible with IOS 5.x? I have an original iPad that I "got back" from my family since they all have the New iPad and don't need the ancient one that they "acquired" from me when I first bought it. FLEX

Old thread, but I would love to know the joystick/curve settings that they felt were realistic. We had our local airshow this past weekend (The Great Tennessee Air Show in Smyrna TN) and "Quicksilver" did a demo. Man I love the sound of the P-51.

Full screen mode is off. It is rendering the black boxes where the exports are supposed to be, just not exporting the information. Helios is working fine. Is there anything else I am supposed to type in? I thought EMC "put" the information in all the .lua that were needed to export the gauge.

Awesome program but I am not able to get any exports from DCS. I had my MFDs exported to the second monitor but could never figure out how to export the other gauges. The areas where I resized the windows to nest them in my helios screen on my second monitor are just black now. Not sure what I did wrong. Is there something in the game options I need to check or select? I made sure to choose the .lua that EMC created and made sure full screen was unchecked. Not sure what else to do.

Looks like a satcom relay... the golf ball looking thing looks like a radome that covers the antenna.

The Skyraider would definitely be a dream come true :-D The mental picture of Skyraiders flying top cover for a flight of Hueys approaching a hot LZ makes me grin from ear to ear :-D

Looking at the springs and then the CV boots made me think of the old leather shifter covers on manual transmission cars. Something like a leather shifter boot should cover the entire base and spring mechanism quite nicely.

Can't wait to see the Huey Collective. Very interested in that.

I would love to see an OH-58D Kiowa, followed by the MH/HH 60 series. And the HIND is definitely a no-brainer :)

I would LOVE to see a Vietnam themed release of aircraft. The A1 Skyraider is one of my all time faves. Couple that with the Huey and you have some CSAR goodness going on. A Jolly Green would be cool too. And a Skyhawk, and an Intruder, and..... lol Would definitely need a new "world" to fly in though. Love the idea and a lot of those a/c could be used for the 60s/70s middle eastern conflicts too.

I had tried that method EtherealN, and the problem I had was that none of my serials were showing up in the module manager. Nothing I did would show the serials. I ended up deleting my entire DCS collection and I am downloading all the new files. Been having issues Dl'ing DCS World. Keep getting a corrupt file somewhere. Since I could not find the proof of purchase for neither BS2 nor P51 I ended up purchasing them again. Hopefully everything will work on the re-install. I plan on taking it one module at a time this time instead of the mass install I did last time. That way I will be able to see which one may give me errors. The A10C was purchased through steam, but I am going to use the DCS download. My serial is actually showing up now for the A10 in the myserial.php, but I hadn't been able to get my Huey back before I deleted everything. Here's hoping everything comes out ok now :) Thanks for the help.

Bumfire, how did you find that other account name? I am about to chuck my computer out the window because I can't figure out what is going wrong. I tried the steps outlined above but ended up losing all the serials and they won't come back. I checked my windows registry and all the serials are showing there. I also did the left shift when starting multi and re-activated everything. When logging into multi after doing that I still get the invalid serial message :cry:

are there ANY solutions to this? I bought the Huey yesterday and now it isn't showing up on either my serials or in game and it was earlier today. I have NO serials for any of the modules I have installed now, and the only serial is the A-10C from steam and it isn't showing in the modules manager in game. I bought the original BS1 back in 2008 and it doesn't show a serial key. A-10C was bought through steam when it first came out. I bought P51D and the BS2 upgrade but they aren't showing up in my purchase history. I had keys but now they are gone from the serial numbers manager. I am getting really frustrated with this.

LawnDart, I am having the same problem, but with ALL my keys. I recently purchased the UH1 and the key was showing in the manager, but now it isn't :(

With the Hind you could have troop insertion/extractions, resupply, etc. Try doing that with the 50 :-P hehehe

Sorry, I was lazy when typing. H/W was supposed to be height and width not hardware. I get the screens to display on my second monitor, I am just trying to figure out the size they need to be to "fit" inside the cougar mfds. Also, is it Helios that will render the cockpit gauges in the black areas left on the second monitor?

I would love to see alternating fixed wing/rotary wing releases. That being said I would love to see a AH1Z reference sim, or an MI24 Hind sim. Think of the missions you could generate for that airframe.

The heading bug is a visual "reminder" of what heading the pilot should be flying. Of course, it does him/her no good if it is not set to the heading they want ;-D Some aircraft slave the autopilot to the bug so it would serve a dual purpose in that case. The HSI is a pretty handy gauge once you really learn how to use it. Better than the old VOR and Card Compass gauges since the HSI is slaved to the compass and doesn't have to be re-calibrated all the time due to precession.

I have been trying to look through this thread and the MFD thread to find the h/w to have the MFCDs fit inside the MFD Cougar but can't seem to find it. Anyone have any suggestions? My MFCDs are currently set at 840 X 840 on my second monitor but I want to scale them down so they fit inside the Cougars and still have the text line up to the appropriate buttons. Thanks in advance for any help. This community rocks :D

The smaller concrete blocks would be easier to replace if damaged than a large concrete pour. Quick and relatively inexpensive. The US has a similar system but uses metal grating instead of the concrete. The grating is expensive as all get out, and tends to "disappear" into other "non" airport uses, like walkways or front porch decking on FOBs :D
