So I having an issue where I cannot use the carriers anymore. Recent aircraft purchases still show as not being available even though I pass a turn after purchasing them. In other words, they show up as, for instance, F-14 2/0 in the Base screen but I cannot create a flight using them. This is only happening with one of the carriers btw. Any tips?

Generally I delete the default planned flights and just start from scratch with SEAD and CAS flights departing right away, followed by two or three CAP flights departing every 10 minutes, depending on the expected mission duration.

I would also like to thank the developers as this Liberation campaign has provided me the most memorable moments since I started simming with DCS. From shooting down scrambling Iranian an F-14s with my avenger cannon after I bombed their base in the dark of night to actually having lots of fun planning the next turn, this piece of software helps achieving the modularity and scale that I always craved for with DCS.

Waiting for some feedback to my problem. I have re-installed Vaicompro and activated it multiple times and I always get this issue where I cannot open the settings window with Alt+Ctrl+c. Disabling Team-Viewer did not help.

I am having an issue with VAICOMPRO since version 2.5.14 and it continues with 2.5.15 and the problem is that I cannot open the configuration window. As seen below, I get a blank window in the backgroud that should be the settings window, but I can"t see, nor interact with it. Deleting and re-installing the plugin, fixes that, but eventually the problem comes back. Any tips for me? I am running the registered version. Thanks

I have opted for the 9700k due to the price difference and considering that it performs similarly, if not bettter, than the 9900k for simulators that are highly dependent on single-thread performance.

Ok. Here is a picture inside a mission. I have actually reduced some settings like shadows to medium and MSAA to 2x. The thing is: I am getting 60fps+, so I am not sure if using all my VRAM is really a problem.

Hello, I have noticed that DCS is currently using more than 60% of my 11gb VRAM memory just by standing still on the menu after loading it. Whenever I am in a mission, regardless if multi or single player, I am consistently at 99% VRAM Usage. Is this normal? Ok, figured it out. It is some sort of incompatibility with the VAICOM plugin. Have disabled it for now.

Hello, I am having an issue that the ICS (communications menu) is always appearing. I have only a keybinding for it (no joystick buttons) and the menu appears even though I am not pressing said key. Any clues? Thanks

Are you testing in VR? Any static reflections look awful in VR.

I am relatively new to DCS and I am having a hard time figuring out all the planes systems (currently flying the AV8, F18 and A10C) and also the different external tools used by the servers. As a hardcore simmer in the civil aviation side (P3D, XP11), this seems like a good fit for me in the long run. Therefore, I have some questions regarding this server: 1. It seems that both Discord and SimpleRadio are required. Why and how are they being used? I must say that, as a VR user, I dread SRS and its 2D overlay. Still have not figured out how I can use it effectively; 2. Is this server PVP only? 3. I enjoy mostly doing A2G stuff. How can I find targets on this server? Sometimes I see a message about a JTAC. Does this info persist somewhere so that I can input it into my flight computers? Thanks!

Hi, I cannot figure out how to turn the external lights on. After turning the battery/APU on, I try to turn on all the external light switches on the right-console, but nothing happens. Formation lights set to on also do no work. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

VR is for sure the best option. Can't fly without it, even though I have a pretty good UW monitor. There are a few issues, for sure, but I have no problems reading the instruments and performing long missions. Nothing beats the immersion in flight-sim, nothing.

I have already suggested this. Being able to switch from VR to 2D on the fly would be great. All other sims already allow it!
