  1. does the ada mod work with FC 1.12b? Or must it be with 1.1?
  2. they look right to me... is your monitor calibrated properly?
  3. thanks! thats rad! are the sound files correct for the mirage? And the flight model? missiles?
  4. what is the "ada" mod? Excuse my ignorance but Im quite new. Does it have new flight characteristics that are accurate to the Mirage F1? Or is just new geometry slapped onto an f-15 or Mig flight model? And does it have a Mirage cockpit? And why the mirage F1? The Mirage 3 or 2000 is more of a dogfighter than the F1 if I remember correctly.
  5. Wow! that looks great! is that a mirage F1? how did you get it into the game? Ive only seen a Mirage III or 2000 in teh game and its not flyable. Is that one flyable?
  6. Im running FC on x64 and it seems fine, but Im not using any fancy game controllers, just a logitech joystick.
  7. I tried it, it seems to work well. thanks again Ironhand!
  8. I posted this under tracks and missions but Im re-posting it here in the hope of getting more views and responses. I had just played the A-10 CAS offensive mission in FC and then I went into the fast battle planner and setup a quick dogfight scenario for the F-15. I enjoyed the dogfight setup so I decided to save it, so I clicked save, but no save or naming options came up. Then I realised I had just saved the F-15 dogfight over the A-10 CAS mission. Its quite irritating how easily this can happen. Now Im reluctant to save anything, because Im never sure when Im going to accidentaly save over the previous mission I had open. Does anyone know where I can get the origianl A-10 CAS offensive mission for FC from?
  9. Damn! I made the same mistake. 10. Hey flipGAF, I agree with you - the twist/yaw on the stick is way too sensitive. I often end up twisting it unintentionally when breaking or rolling or doing loops.
  11. OK... so this post proves I am a huge nerd. But Ive been playing LOMAC with a normal cheap @ss Logitech joystick. I wanted something a little more fighter pilot looking, so I whipped out my old model aircraft paints and did a custom paintjob. I just felt I had to share this with the world.
  12. Ok great, I'll stay away from padlock views then. Ive set up my own free track rig with a web cam and a battery with an IR LED mounted on the peak and it works perfectly! It changes the whole game.
  13. Sorry for the noob question, but what is meant by the term "padlock views"? I cant see a difference in gameplay when this option is checked/unchecked.
