  1. So I love the new sounds, however I do have a small question: Why do the intake sounds persist when the aircraft is passing? In the video of the flyby sounds, you can still hear the intake whine after the intakes have passed, when in reality you'd only really have the rumble of the exhaust/afterburner. Is this something that will be looked at?
  2. Ok, ive changed the pathfile and ill reply again if I keep getting crashes. For now though, thank you for your help!
  3. I have 25674 MB on my C drive, but DCS is on a separate SSD and that has 243468 MB free. Also, as an aside I had another crash today, there was no .zip created, just this as a CRASH file: # -------------- 20200822-003812 -------------- DCS/2.5.6.53756 (x86_64; Windows NT 10.0.18363) G:\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\edterrainGraphics41.dll # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at EC0AFDA5 00:00000000 SymInit: Symbol-SearchPath: '.;G:\DCS World OpenBeta;G:\DCS World OpenBeta\bin;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\system32;SRV*C:\websymbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols;', symOptions: 530, UserName: 'Nick' OS-Version: 10.0.18363 () 0x100-0x1 0x00007F957CEB45A5 ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0x0000018FBC255868 ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0x00007F957CEB6140 ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0x00000196A5129F28 ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0x0000000000002EB0 ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0xFFFFFF9790E047FE ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0x00000181E05556F0 ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0x000001961CE3D360 ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0x0000000000004408 ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0xFFFFFF9790E0480F ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0xFFFFFF9790E04B0C ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0xFFFFFF9790E0480C ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0x000001961CE3D360 ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0x00000181E05556F0 ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0x00007F957CEB6D20 ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0x0000018FBC255868 ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0xFFFFFF9790E0560D ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0x00000181E05556F0 ((module-name not available)): (function-name not available) + 0x0
  4. Yeah, the box is ticked for it.
  5. Oh ok, sorry! Still new at this! dcs.log-20200820-223713.zip
  6. If this is what you mean, here: # -------------- 20200820-223713 -------------- DCS/2.5.6.53756 (x86_64; Windows NT 10.0.18363) C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\VCRUNTIME140.dll # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 192616E9 00:00000000 SymInit: Symbol-SearchPath: '.;G:\DCS World OpenBeta;G:\DCS World OpenBeta\bin;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\system32;SRV*C:\websymbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols;', symOptions: 530, UserName: 'Nick' OS-Version: 10.0.18363 () 0x100-0x1 0x00000000000016E9 (VCRUNTIME140): memcpy + 0x3F9 0x000000000006D46A (edterrainGraphics41): edtg41::TerrainRenderable::dumpRenderItem + 0x5CB5A 0x00000000000763B3 (edterrainGraphics41): edtg41::TerrainRenderable::dumpRenderItem + 0x65AA3 0x00000000000C8EC3 (edterrainGraphics41): createInstancerRenderable + 0x36393 0x00000000000DC9A8 (edCore): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0x00000000000D3F6A (edCore): (function-name not available) + 0x0 0x0000000000724428 (DCS): CoreUtils::TempFilesManager::operator= + 0x3B3AD8 0x00000000006F8824 (DCS): CoreUtils::TempFilesManager::operator= + 0x387ED4 0x00000000006F8BE9 (DCS): CoreUtils::TempFilesManager::operator= + 0x388299 0x00000000016DA39C (DCS): AmdPowerXpressRequestHighPerformance + 0xB0C398 0x00000000008E310E (DCS): CoreUtils::TempFilesManager::operator= + 0x5727BE 0x0000000000017BD4 (KERNEL32): BaseThreadInitThunk + 0x14 0x000000000006CE51 (ntdll): RtlUserThreadStart + 0x21
  7. For some reason I have had a CTD while flying on the 107th Syria server using both the F-14 and F-18C. It happens at random times and with no frame sputtering or indications of a crash. This is all I get from my crash file: # -------------- 20200820-155119 -------------- DCS/2.5.6.53756 (x86_64; Windows NT 10.0.18363) C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nv_dispi.inf_amd64_e92a0ac2e05fb2ca\nvwgf2umx.dll # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 0629121B 00:00000000 SymInit: Symbol-SearchPath: '.;G:\DCS World OpenBeta;G:\DCS World OpenBeta\bin;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\system32;SRV*C:\websymbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols;', symOptions: 530, UserName: 'Nick' If someone could help me understand this or report it as a bug that'd be awesome. Cheers guys!
  8. Hey, I dont know if its already been reported or not, so if it is could a mod delete this thread? Whenever an A/G munition is selected on the Rearm/Refuel menu, it loads the weapon on the correct station, but it doesnt load the rack onto the hardpoint on stations 3,4,5, and 6. The bombs are there, but they hang in midair, and it looks really silly!
  9. Hey everyone, I just have a few questions regarding the autopilot uses and modes. In the manual, it shows the switches and gives a description of what they're supposed to do, but it doesn't give any information on how it's done. Let's use the heading hold switch; how does it work? Does it let you actually set the heading bug and the autopilot flies towards your bug? Same with altitude hold; it works just barely, it doesn't equal out your altitude, its more of an advanced attitude hold. I'm wondering if I'm doing anything wrong or if the autopilot is more of a way to ease controls from the pilot. I know the A/P is able to fly the aircraft with ACLS lock on, so can it fly itself. Can it do this in cruise?
  10. It should be the same for every contact. It's not primarily for identifying the type of entity spiking or nailing you, its to identify that there is something spiking or nailing you. The database for types of radar is basically an added plus. Look at the Viggen; It just has lights to tell you from what direction and if a lock is acquired on you. doesn't matter if its friendly or hostile. Hope this helps!
  11. Its no worries! You put a lot of work into this, its only natural that something may happen to slip past! I appreciate the pack and cant wait to see it develop further!
  12. Quick question about the radio commands, not with Jester: Whenever I'm, say refueling, and I use the Command "ready pre-contact" I get a VA error of the KY-58 TX-1600.wav audio stream did not load in a timely manner, and it doesn't activate the command it's supposed to activate. Is there a fix or workaround?
  13. Ill try to get some logs next time it happens, I only have one router, and OS is Windows 10
  14. Oh, I see! Thanks!! If a mod can move this to the general F-14 thread, not bugs, That'd be awesome!
  15. Hey guys! Is it just me, or does air to air refueling only put you at 12.2 rather than full state when clean? Also, If you have bags, they are also supposed to get filled too right? Mine dont, and it only goes up part of the way. Cheers!
