  1. Tell this the countries who acquired the NH-90
  2. Since the Chinook will not be a weapons platform, i am pretty sure, ED will develop a dedicated cargo system - it's needed for the C-130 as well. I don't think it's a coincidence, that both modules are being developed parallel.
  3. Will be interesting to see when we‘ll get the first details and how detailed that will be. And if it is indeed the italian iCH-47F then it has FLIR
  4. Will the UH-1H receive further updates regarding the 3D-Model an the Multicrew-AI? BTW the MT-Performance-Boost is amazing
  5. I'll give it a try tonight and report back
  6. Yes i have some custom liveries "installed"
  7. Has anyone found a solution for this? I tried a full repair, deleted all mods, fxo, metshaders etc. without success
  8. I still haveproblems with the cockpits of the Mi-24P and the KA-50 III. in the MI-24P there is no english cockpit available for me and in the KA-50 III the ABRIS AMMS is also always in russian even though the rest of the cockpit is in english. With both modules in "english cockpit" chosen in the special tab
  9. I was doing research for buying a new pc for DCS after the 2.8 update as i solely fly in VR...stopped the research after the MT-update
  10. Nope, same over here Mods (Devrims) also don't alter Cockpit textures anymore for me
  11. Absolutely especially with the Apache and the upcoming Kiowa and Chinook it would make night missions so much more fun
  12. Lovely! Would be a dream to have that a H-6 or an MD-500 modeled in DCS with an accurate Flight Model
  13. In my experience all 3rd-Party Modules require some sort of scale adjustement via IPD distance. E.g. i have pretty big deviations with the Tomcat compared to the Hornet. With the Tomcat i use 57 and with the ED-Modules i use 61
  14. There might be some people in the community who are willing to look into the possibility of making an Armed Chinook mod
  15. We need it, no matter what variant, but a Seahawk would complement the super carrier module nicely
  16. If you watch it in 4K it says Aim-120C on the fins
  17. Nahh preorder announcement this Friday. Preorder period starting January 23rd and EA-Release in March 1st (it's a wednesday what a coincidence)
  18. In my view performance is affewcted by the combination of VR Headset and PC hardware. After 2.8 my FPS with the Oculus Rift were horrible. They dropped from constant 45 FPS to 25 to 35. As i wanted to upgrade hardware anyways, i switched to the Reverb G2 and i am back at 40 to 45 FPS in 2.8 despite the much higher resolution. And different settings have different consequences on different VR-rigs. E.G. OpenXR does not have a great performance impact on my system.
  19. Yeah Rudel i can recommend this one - that's what i use for the Hornet, too
  20. Many thanks from my side to - loved the Checklist-Tutorial and this one es well. I'm looking forward to some more SOP-tutorials! Merry Christmas
  21. In my opinion with the development of an AI in two seaters and the thirst of the naval aviation community for a Rhino two simulate Carrier Air Wings in the mid 2000's timeframe, i think an Block I F-Model would be an amazing addition despite all the limitations that Skate pointet out as comepent as always - thanks for your insights man! Just my 3 Cents
  22. Cool thing is, that's why i mentioned the Osprey Book - it was not only two bombs on one target. There are missions depicted with two bombs on two seperate targets in one pass with very specific ingress and egress routes at specific altitudes to realizes two successfull drops, that requires really precise flying. As @Bananabrai mentioned the Fighter Pilot Podcast should convince everyone, who likes A/G stuff, that the Nighthawk would be a really cool addition - even with the simplified RCS simulation we have. And in the end of the day every dedicated Bomber does one thing: it drops munition on a target. Imho that "one trick pony-argument" is not really convincing
  23. Even if pleaple say, the F-117A is a one trick pony, it offers a lot in regards of mission planning, precise flying in the dark alone with silent comms and being on time for AAR rendevous as well as target strikes. Everyone who thinks a F-117A would be boring, should read Ospreys "F-117 Stealth Fighter Units of Operation Desert Storm"
