Hi again guys, Another problem has shown up. I cannot get my aircraft to stay with the carrier, When I place the aircraft on to the carrier, the selection for positioning is an airfield only list. Click on any on the list and the plane will jump to the nearest airfield. The list for carrier positioning is not available.

In Mission Editor I place the Supper Carrier (or any other ship) on the map, The Icons are there with the radar range circles showing but when I zoom in, the carrier (or other ships) are not there so it's not possible to install my aircraft on the carrier. Can anyone please enlighten me as to the problem. I have in the passed carried out placing the carrier, installing and flying the Hornet. I have recently re-installed windows and DCS. All other functions in DCS are working fine.

Viocom not responding to the Lctr//Lalt/C. Re-installed with the latest version of VA but no effect, no beep/no indication. the program just stopped working hens the re-install. I have validated VA, enabled plugin, run as admin but no response to the keys.

Thanks "H" for your reply, However, Still cannot get the config to show on screen just a blank page view in the task bar. I must again mention that when reinstalled, config will work well on both monitors for a short while. Regards Colin

When voice Attack has initialized, pressing LCtrl+LAlt+C for config does not bring up viocom config window to my desktop. A blank view of it can be seen in my task bar. This has happened a number of times and the only I can fix it is by re-installing but this does not last, after a few loads it fails to show again. Appreciate any Help

F18/J82s/targeting POD. The first problem when first trying out the POD, was after going through the recommended procedure with four Bombs selected and targets set on each, most of the bombs landed way of target and one in the opposite direction. I checked many times with Wags video and any other video covering J82 with targeting pod. But I could not see any difference in my set up. I then received and installed the recent auto update for DCS. 2.5 Open Beta. But then, Running through the following procedure; J82. Time out. PP mode or TOO (same results). Fuse- Inst, Display. Quantity-4. Return. TOO, Mission, set perimeters, change back tp PP. when STEP selected the mode will re-select TOO mode and will not stay in PP mode. The result is all other selected weapons will get over written and target the first selected target or go adrift to some where way off course. When a single Bomb is chosen, the system is ok “IF” first chosen. If I try single after attempting Multiple, then I have to come out and chose stores again and then go through the process of a single drop. Any suggestions:(???

Thanks guise for your reply. I have not been on the Hornet for some time (Ka50). thought I would go back and give it a try. I did not carry out the correct start up procedure, no fuel till the generators kick in. All is well. Thanks again

I cannot get my F18 to start with any fuel when using the editor, even the ground crew will not fill the tanks. this includes any additional external fuel when fitted. any suggestions??? :noexpression:

I have attempted to make some training missions in the editor for the F18. I have set the parameters for my player aircraft including fuel load out and duplicating as wingman. During the mission my wingman reports bingo fuel and later ejects given that the wingman had the same fuel load out. However, I can continue to go through the mission and still have enough fuel to return to base. Can any one enlighten me as to where the problem lays.

My first post regarding this problem is as follows. Since first installing DCS World 2 Open Alpha 2.1.1 Nevada and Ka-50 Black shark 2, I have had the problem with uncaging SHKVAL which ever key or button I assign (including default "O") I get the same problem which is the cockpit screen flashing between cockpit and kneepad. this can occur in any training mode. Cold start, Takeoff, Free Flight and Shooting range. ONLY WHEN I TRY TO UNCAGE. I am running windows 10 64Home addition after upgrading from 7 due to this issue (just in case). I have Saitek X52 controllers, Logitech key board changed from Dell (just in case) Twice downloaded and reinstalled the above with all updates. I have tried clearing the keyboard category and using buttons on my X52 but to no avail. This has been going on now for three weeks trying to solve this issue, so now I am seeking help from the community. I appreciate the response from "Isegrim" and "Nero.ger" but the problem could not be resolved due to what seems to be a one off. However, I have resolved the problem and find it a responsibility to pass the info on to the community. Having reinstalled many times, played about with input config, check graphic cards but could not nail it down. As I was running two AMD graphics card in crossfire I started out with medium settings. After all of the above, I then tried low setting which resolved the problem (to my relief) Switching between low, medium and high settings I noted the difference in the tick box settings and then turned off these settings one at a time. It turned out that the problem was with "Deffered shading" which in turn, turns on/off "cockpit global illumination" With these turned off my problem was eliminated. I can now continue to learn and fly this remarkable sim. Regards to all.

Yes, I am only running DCS in one screen settings. May I add that although I have three screen connected I only run one in DCS. Other screen I find handy for having DCS manuals available.

I have no additional MODS or attempted to interfere with standard settings of DCS. I have three monitors but disconnected them to check if they had any effect and did not.

I have deleted both Ka-50 and Ka-50 easy files Restart DCS, open OPTIONS/CONTROLS and I find that nothing has changed in the keyboard or controller settings previously set, I also cannot save a profile. So, If deleting the input config files (as per the above) has not effected the controls setting within the options tab, where is it picking up the file? could there be some hidden files left over from the previous deleted DCS installations?
