  1. Hi,

I'll treat myself to it this evening. Thank you for creating a campaign for the Mi-24. We now have 3 campaigns for a class module that will captivate you for days/weeks. Your announcement for the KA-50 also sounds very interesting. This would certainly also be very interesting for the SA342...

  2. Hi,

I have a fundamental question about this: Since I haven't dealt with the FC 3 modules for a long time and have only recently started traveling more with the Mig-29, I would like to ask how communication generally works with the FC 3 modules. As you can see in the screenshot, I can set a frequency for the AI units. For which AI unit? The wingmen flying in my group? How is this handled if, for example, there is Group A (Su-33), B (Su-25) & C (F-15). Additionally, a tanker plane. As a player, I'm in group A and I want to tell group C to attack enemy xy. Afterwards I would like to refuel at the tanker plane. Now I can't set frequencies for each group in the FC 3 modules, how do I do that? I still have the NS 430 module, which can also be used in the FC 3 modules, but you can't communicate with it, it's 'only' for navigation (or have I overlooked something)?

  3. Hi,

I checked this myself today & had exactly the same problem as you. I also wanted to put a screenshot of my view in your post. I noticed that when I created the screenshot, DCS had saved the image file in my installation directory .\DCS World_openbeta\bin-mt. I also noticed that I couldn't open the DCS_updater.exe in the bin directory via the CMD: "File was not found". So I couldn't call up a repair function either. I strongly suspect that it has something to do with the change in February. Since there is no longer an open beta. So what did I do?-> I downloaded the current DCS_World_web.exe and freshly installed DCS. Problems have been eliminated.

    Ah, thx

I still have one question about this: What about a manual? Is there something like the Mi-24 or is it like the F-16/FA-18/Apache that the manual is constantly being expanded?

  6. Hi,

The last update to the Red Flag campaign was DCS 2.8.0.32066 on October 22nd, 2022. As long as I have viewed the changeslogs correctly. Now there have been a few significant updates for the M2k (IFF, GCA). Are there plans to somehow integrate these into Red Flag?

  7. Hi,

    Manual
Page 484: "the direct mode is mostly used for smart weapons that require lock on target."
Page 552: "For smart weapons delivery it is advised to select AUTO mode."

So for the JDAMS what do you have to take? I'm just getting used to the F-15E, so I don't have any experience here yet.

Have a picture for clarification, hopefully this helps.  The tick-boxes on the right are for forcing an aircraft or helicopter into civil-aviation mode, for an Aerobatics server for instance.  The weapon-station boxes for the Hip have the option to remove the pylons, while also allowing the left and rear gunner positions to be loaded.image.jpeg

Hey, thanks for the tip. In hindsight: I'm a little annoyed that I didn't think of it myself 😉
