Ugly, painted trees and houses are back, just like in stone age sims :doh: Makes very hard to spot ground units in that mess.. -
Are those installed on MI-8MTV2 ?? In dcs ? Because i'm thinking to buy it but im bit unsure because there was no flares or rwr in Huey and thas really limits its combat use :joystick:

Hey, maybe it's just my bad english but if you think that i am "new" for sims or like arcade you may be wrong. Here is my simpit: http://aijaa.com/aOlFAX I take my sims full real, but i still know that i play complex (simulation)game. :music_whistling: So i just hope that ed will get more game side to dcs, so i have good REASON to use my every single button :megalol: -haukka81

It's not so important than you think young man.. This is flight simulator, not cockpit trainer. :smilewink: And even now my HUEY, KA-50 , A-10C and other modules just get dust because gameplay side is crap, YES CRAP!!! Briefing window is postcard size.. no immersion anywhere, atc is joke. Rain is just cosmetic , no need to CLICK swithc and turn on wipers using MOUSE (how many aircrafts has mouse ? Tell me ? ) You can be sure that majority , maybe 70% people will go autostart after while.. And multiplayer won't help, because even then all abowe is ruining the immersion... I don't fly even mp anymore. Until DCS gets bit "chorme" it will collet dust. Sure i fly it sometimes , but thats is just because FLIGHT MODEL feels so great. :joystick: -haukka81

MY important things for good flightsim: 1. Flight model (we fly FLIGHTsim, yes ? ) 2.Immersion (radio talk, living world, good briefings , menus etc.. ) 3.Good campaing/career system (dcs needs this badly) 4.Realistic weapon systems 5.Good multiplayer system 6.Button, clic,clic cockpit (less important, without good reason to learn its just nice as exel.. ) Those are my toughts.. :) -haukka81

REAL TREES!! MORE REAL TREES!! Fake "ghost" stone age fly trough trees just kill immersion and won't even block AI.s vision. :mad: But this is ED's broblem, can't understand why they dont fix it.. 2 helos, and 2 cas planes already and still those stupid trees. :doh::doh:

This just what i meant, no need to be complex like BMS, simple system is better than nothing. Because now i have to always left dcs to collect dust and go to BMS, game side is so bad in dcs. (for now) :thumbup: -

HI. Anybody knows how hard it would to create campaing generator for DCS ? i know that complex full dynamic would take years but what about simple system. Not realtime but generator that will make next mission based events in last mission, like IL-2 or Thirdwire style. Limited amount of planes/tanks etc.. for red and blue. Would be very nice to fly coop with couple friend in wingmen. Sometimes "smoke and mirros" are better than nothing :thumbup: -haukka81

We all want big maps etc.. But i don't want new big map if it means fake trees , dead horse i know.. Maybe desert is best option , not many trees so no need for new tree technology :P

Hey, we need big maps because then there would be reason to refuel in air (desert storm etc..) and you have to think how much weapons you can take etc..

And thats why i hope that we get DC campaings in future. 90% of curent user made missions let player circle over target And shoot fish in barel.. No fear that fighters may come etc...

AI crew should tell you: * AAA Fire that they spot * SAM launch -"- * Enemis that they spot ? All this was possible in janes f-15 in 1998 when i was 14 year old and flying over bagdad with my AI Rio :) So please ed, i know that you have some ex Janes combat simulations people in work ( Wags?? ) -haukka81

Edge... Its like santa... We want to belive :D I belive that edge will look bit better but will be even heavier to run And trees are still ghost trees. -

Nope, you think wrong if you think that Apache can take full brust of ZU-23 and fly etc.. It's very fragile, some armor in engines and some more in cocpit but side windows can't take many hits 14,6mm or smilar :book: maybe best armor is in hind and even that will come down if hit from manpad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBJ8e_IVOO0 -haukka81 -
RPG inf wont attack anymore, least at my missions. Don't know why it was removed. AK47 inf will shoot. Galwran @ MTLB and other apc.s with light mahineguns are good AAA for huey missions and some ZU-23s in trucks will be ok too.
