  1. Just got Oculus Rift the other day, and boy it's super immersive. Though I went against my better judgement and built an SLI PC, only to found out the hard way that Oculus Rift doesn't work with SLI, so I had to disable the second card to run DCS:mad: In anycase, I found it super fun to poke my head out out of the window, occasionally even standing up to look behind me. Although, when in cockpit there's quite a bit of cognitive dissonance looking down because my sticks and petals are in the same place as they are in the plane.
  2. Have you tried other VR programs and see if they work as well with your current settings? Particularly test them after you run DCS? I got this weird problem that my Oculus CV1 used to work, but after upgrading my PC with SLI it won't work anymore if the desktop monitor is set to 4k 60 FPS, I have to reduce the main monitor to 1080p 60 FPS, or 4k 30 FPS, or disable SLI to get a picture in the Oculus. Can you try disabling SLI, restarting your computer and see if DCS works then?
  3. Cool, thanks, looks like it's right then.
  4. I'm a total noob, having tried 1.57 in a Su 25 a few before, and recently decided to pay up, jump in with 2.1 and FC3. I remember the files size was ~35Gb before, but now with Nevada and FC3 it's 59Gb? or did I forget to remove some temporary files? What's DCS' size on your PC?
  5. Thanks for replies, you guys helped me decide that I'm gonna build the new PC with single graphics card, but leave room for SLI expansion for when DCS' SLI performance improves.
  6. I've been lurking a while, and finally decided to dip into DCS simming properly. I'm am thinking of going all in with budget for building a new PC to play on Nevada. But I got a question I want to ask, will any sort of system setup be able to play comfortably on Nevada with VR? I am willing to go as far as SLI dual Geforce 1080Ti provided that it actually works. But I hear that SLI isn't fully supported and doesn't provide much performance increase, in that case might as well keep the money in my pocket and built something more modest.
