  1. Ok I tried several quick combat mission involve guns only. I managed to defeat several AI opponent 1x1 except F-16 (he decided to punch out for no reason ) I haven’t adjusted curves yet, but rather decided to see if I can stick with tiny stick movements. I experimented with different speeds and 60 degrees 2g sustain turns and slow flights. I have noticed that countering adverse yaw with “bottom” rudder for some reason send turn coordinator ball to opposite direction ? Is that normal behavior ? We are talking about small tiny rudder deflection. My perception is that “stepping on the ball “ producing immediate skidding turn. Is that how it suppose to be? Also I tried some slow flight /high angle of attack flying. Despite my best effort to keep ball center F-14 always lose control and falls on the right wing . Same thing happen even if I press opposite rudder. Perhaps right wing falling tendency has to do with engine turbine rotation? Does anyone one knows which direction they spin? 2. Sorry but it is your assumption from beginning to the end. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks for sharing I’ll check it out! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I try when it doesn’t interfere with my flight duty. So unfortunately it is what it is Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Highway research center? :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I’ve been trying F-14 since early public access release. Latest patch kill everything I got used to before (I haven’t flown roughly 2 weeks) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Ok so 20 for all axis as for TM warthog. What about CH rudders same thing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I will fly literally anything. Just give me your number and address of the hangar :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I’m sorry I can remember exactly when. Perhaps YoYo in one conversation mentioned this that in house FM is based and default curves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. First of all I didn’t mock but express my opinion. Secondly it is know fact that several F-18 and Harrier pilots tried DCS and concluded inconsistencies with real counterparts (flight model wise). Also I personally participated in sim development and gave my input as well. Yet model in the end appeared to be quite far from what I expected. So I’m familiar with approximation and don’t question input of real F-14 driver who provided their expertise. What I’m referring to is to flight model as it appear on my end F-14 more reminds me light aircraft that “sit on the stick”. I understand it should be like that since F-14 is very heavy. Again I will repeat I absolutely have no problem landing, taking off and basic flight maneuvers. My problem come with advance maneuvers handling. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yes I know that. And after reading recommendations didn’t adjust any curves as flight model supposed to be based on standard curves. Now do you use TM Warthog. If so would you share your curves? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I guess it supposed to be funny in your little world Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Mocking or otherwise attacking people you don’t know just because you disagree with something Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Then don’t say something you don’t mean. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I see you guys are all pros in making fun :) I can lough with you a long. Still I didn’t attack here anyone personally ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Do you want come fly with me? :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Great. And very professional. Great pilot always offer help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. How do you know that is suppose to yankin? In context of the conversation it’s not helpful at all :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Good hear Sir. First of all I have no problem with take off/landings on carrier or airfield. But when it comes to chandells and lazy eights I’m in total loss. One inch on my TM and my F-14 depart in high alpha. Is there any particular tweaks on hardware has to be made? Also I’m a bit confused with rudder. It seems countering adverse yaw with little or full rudder deflection has equal effect. Is that so in real life ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. FM after latest patch I got paid for flying what does it make me? :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Again to all responders! Any real F-14 drivers here? If not I rest my case :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Oh dear no need to be that offensive. Gotta be open minded ;) I see F-14 is becoming a little cult of followers who are very defensive when someone disagree . I once checked out F-18 pilot for local flying club, his attitude was way better than from a lot simmers nowadays. In fact pro flyers never have stuck up attitude ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I know he did make input, but it make it authentic flight model. I’m talking about getting coordinated sustained steep turn without F-14 going all over the place? Have you seen real Hornet pilot aka “mover” tries DCS F-18 and comment on flight model? DCS is a great sim for what it worth, but it didn’t get certified for real world yet. Some sims did. 24. Lol close enough. I sat in many airplanes once and endorsed many simmers for the first solo :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Tell me who flown Tomcat here? Lol FM is only close to real when it certified. I remember long time ago a SoCal company invited Mig-29 pilot to test their new game ( I actually knew him in person)He got H1B and went to USA. When he tried the game he was horrified, but CEO of the company insisted that all they can do. Later on the game appeared on shelf with “tested by real MiG-29 pilot” lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
