I'm enjoying it so far. More detail than Normandy and a bit more geographically interesting with the cliffs. Since I don't own any choppers to have a proper look, how do youtube creators like Philstyle do a first person view and look around in the towns etc?

When did this get implemented? Just flew a longish mission tonight and I notice once we get into the lower tank and the gauge starts working, it has a very realistic wobble to it.

Hey Matt, I generally use the curves recommended in Chuck's guides and they work well for me (although I now use a T1600 hotas rather than the hotas X). For the spit it's just a straight up curve of 15 for pitch/roll/rudder.

It's a great campaign! Nice variety and the difficulty curve is good. I'm up to the low alt strike mission on my second play through. It's awesome that both hot and cold start is offered too.

Ahhh, I knew something was entirely different after doing my case 1 in the CTB campaign last night. Great stuff Heatblur! Continuing to be the gold standard by some margin.

Anyone know if this has been resolved? I like to be able to go 6 shooter for carrier ops but found it so hard to get back on deck with this bug so I haven't tried in a while.

Sorry, I can't be of assistance. But I have the very same issues and have the same controllers with similar curves. I have the same problem with gaining altitude at the break even with brake out and throttle idle as recommended. There is a great vid from 104th maverick but it would be great to see his control grid in that clip. Regarding trim. I find it trickier than other planes. The obvious difference is you have an extra variable with the wings changing sweep angle. I think it's doable though if you're patient and use small trim adjustments without also moving the throttle. I must admit, I'm at the more casual end of players and I often just let the autopilot do the hard work for me.

No. You can do that with the canopy open which is great. The problem is you can still do it to the right with the canopy shut. Through the glass. I wouldn't have mentioned it if it purely happened with the lid back as I really like that feature.

Just tried the f14 and it isn't happening? It seems fine, head can't go outside the glass. Haven't tried any other planes yet.

Hi all, Not sure if this is a bug that is already reported so I'll start here. After playing the excellent Big Show campaign mission 11 and realising I could do with a bit of light when RTB, I notice the dials don't go dark>bright. They peak at about the middle then dim again. Like it has a bell curve rather than linear to max. Can anyone confirm and also mention whether it's already reported?

I think this is your problem exactly. You shouldn't be lifting off until 120. And the trim should be 2 notches down which helps keep those beautiful big wings from getting too carried away too early. I know some people don't follow that exactly, but that's what I've always done and find it works nicely. I'd highly recommend doing training missions as it covers this.

Ah, thanks! I'll give that a go. I forgot that deleting metashaders every other update is generally a good idea.

Gunsight disappears now? Just had this happen in Burning Skies. Gunsight disappeared and couldn't turn it back on.

Hey guys I also had this issue. I think the key is to make sure and quit out after passing the mission. If you hit 'start' to have a peak at the next mission then don't load it, I believe it 'fails' you and bounces you back?

Just want to say thanks to Reflected for the borderline spiritual experience I had last night. Mission 4 is just beautiful and such a nice change of pace from the preceding missions with big furballs. Starting in basically complete dark and firstly turning on both floodlights, then gradually climbing to angels 30 over the channel while the sun comes up all on your lonesome was just something else. I won't say anymore so as not to spoiler for anyone who is yet to play it. Again, just wanted to say thanks!

Hey guys, I seem to have an issue where the campaign isn't saving my progress. I finish the mission, click to continue or whatever. But at the moment I never have time to play more than one mission at once. When I come back it has me back on mission 2 again. Can anyone help?
