  1. Brilliant, thanks upuaut. Hopefully, at some point in the future ED will update this so that all cargo can be adjusted without the need to edit the lua file. But this will work perfectly for now.
  2. Ha, no problem. It's a bit crazy that a cargo item is now so heavy it can't be cargo!
  3. BackboneOne, I believe the logs are actually DCS cargo items. I also noted this recently in the 2.5 bugs forum as there are a few cargo items where you can not change the mass: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=223829. Apparently its been this way for a while.
  4. The Mission Editor settings for boarding troops change since this mission was made, im fairly new to DCS but I have stumbled across this in a few old missions. You can fix it though, if you are happy to mess around with the Mission Editor. If you have a watch of this tutorial video by Suntsag you can see how to do it with AI, as far as I can tell the process is the same regardless of whether the heli is AI or Player controlled. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3566110&postcount=59 Hope that helps.
  5. Seems like an odd decision, when the other cargo items can have variable mass. It makes me think they should be categorised as structures rather than cargo, if you cant move them.
  6. Hi, Some cargo objects in the mission editor do not allow for their Mass to be altered, regardless of whether they have the "can be cargo" option set. I presume anything under the Cargos Category should allow mass to be adjusted so they can slung by the various helicopters. Types with this issues are: F-shape barrier M117 bombs Pipes big Pipes small Tetrapod Trunks long Trunks short Thanks.
  7. DSPALLASVI just in case you are still missing textures, I just managed to get this working, having had the same issues you describe and using Oradan1974 post #724. I believe the object in your example is the Hellipadtower Structure having just checked that is working correctly for me. Personally I use OvGME for Mods, but I don't think it should make much difference. This did prove rather fiddly to get working, as certain mods need to be in different places, which is not something i have personally come across. I guess the process for installing has changed since this great pack was put together. Anyway, below are the changes I made, but all credit to Oradan1974 this is 100% my version of his fix: Helipads_Cargo_RaceGates_Hospital_M117 2.5 - ALL FOLDERS - is being injected into my E:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta game folder. Helipads_Cargo_RaceGates_Hospital_M117 2.5 - MODS\TECH FOLDER ONLY - is being injected into my C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta folder. Download from post #724 Oradan1974 two LUA files. Within the Mods folder that will be injected into your Game Folder, delete: Mods\tech\UH-1_ext_FuelTank\entry.lua Replace tank.lua with the file you downloaded and update the path within. The path needs to be directed to your save games folder, in my case: "C:/Users/USERNAME/Saved Games/DCS.openbeta/Mods/tech/UH-1_ext_FuelTank/textures" Within the mods folder that you will injected into Save Games, delete Mods\tech\UH-1_ext_FuelTank\tank.lua Replace entry.lua with the file you downloaded and update the path within. This needs to be directed to your save games folder, in my case: "E:/Games/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World OpenBeta/Mods/tech/UH-1_ext_FuelTank" I hope that helps.
  8. Hi M0ltar, I recently re-downloaded all of them via your ovgme 51bisons repository. I have Cockpit 1.5.3 and HUD 1.5.1 installed. (Hopefully) there is a screen shot of the zip contents which shows the same file in both packages on this post. I'm not really flying the Ka-50 at the moment so its not bothering me personally.
  9. Hi, Anyone else getting an overlap error between the Cockpit and the Hud mod files? I don't recall seeing this before but the Ka-50\Cockpit\Resources\IndicationTextures/helmet_frame.tga is duplicated in both zip files. They do appear to be the same though.
  10. Hi, Just started on the Red Flag Campaign. On Mission 2 you are tasked to follow the flight lead with the briefed speed of 250knots. However, he is doing almost 300knots the whole time. Checking the Mission editor his speed is set to 350 rather than 250. Thanks.
  11. I'm liking the sound of that, will no doubt be up for a replay by then  The Georgian War was actually the first campaign (of yours) I completed - also excellent. Like many I picked up Flaming Cliffs quite soon after getting bitten by the DCS bug - then came the A10-C, UH-1H, M2000...
  12. Hi BD, Just a quick not to say what a great campaign this is. And that last mission is a real battle to the finish line! I finally (after around 5 attempts) managed to nail that base with the supplied rockets and escape the gun fire. I’m moderately new to DCS and it looks like this was your first campaign before the M2000 and it’s been interesting to see the difference between the two. I really enjoyed the general comms with your wingmen that went on in the M2000 and would have loved to have heard more of that with this. Looks like im on to M2000 Red Flag now, I really hope you get a few more campaigns out because I’m nearly all caught up!
  13. Hi BD, There appears to be some issues with Mission 19 Masda. The first time i flew this the unknown UH-1H crashes on landing, and the mission stopped triggering. I noticed something similar earlier in this thread so I manged to fix this by adjust the landing position in the editor and the mission started playing you fine. However, once the call comes in from Banshee that the compound is clear and the ground forces (DEER) move in nothing else ever triggers.
  14. Hey Hollywood, I just updated and I have the same issue as Gunnergolly. I have cleaned DCS and rest the LUA files. When in game using my usual test, Defend Camp Yankee, in the A10; the config screen remains on default and Easy Communication ON - despite it being off. Switching the game to Easy Comms things all appear to work, although the APP still doesnt show that you are in the A10, it remains on (Default).
  15. Yeah, it’s odd because JTAC worked perfectly in Mission 13 - which was also a lot of fun. I've only been playing DCS for around 6 months and I have to say the inconsistencies in the engine are one of the most annoying things. It’s great that ED and the other developers are releasing new modules, but I really wish they would spend a few months just squashing bugs in the existing assets. It must be really irritating for people like yourself that must constantly fix missions because of bugs and oddities.
