OK, so I tried doing the Clearance, Ground and Tower mission using the A-10CII. Using the instructor mode. Consequently, once we had taken off and told to stay at or below 4000 feet. But he just leaves me in his wake and when I finally get a visual, he is well above 10,000 with no chance of catching him much less flying in formation. Is this my problem or the AI problem?

The rain will bounce off the canopy when it is closed but clips through shelter roof.

It would be nice to be able to launch from a runway in pairs with an AI wingman in stead of having to launch in single file.

I have to ask you guys, if the pilot only has his ihadss to fly by, how is he supposed to know where to fly. Direction, height, speed, yes I’ve got that but he isn’t going to know about the, to coin a phrase, “Big aeroplane killing rock”. He surely cannot rely on the guy in the front seat telling him what is in front of him? I have loaded up this skin and have given it a try, but I never took off as I had no idea about the situation outside. I’m going to try it with the CPG displaying PNVS information into the rear cockpit in fixed attitude and pilot just using his ihadss display, see how I get on that way.

If you go to the forum for the Rafale, there is a solution for that issue https://forum.dcs.world/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=463730&key=2715c22e118e7af169e950375aeb7c31 I think this is a good link. But you need the SU33 and you need to add something to the options.lua file for that aircraft.

Thanks for your reply Rudel. I have the SU33 installed, so does it need to be loaded into a mission first as for the F-22 that needs the F-15C to be loaded prior to jumping into it please.

I have downloaded this mod and I can’t get into the cockpit. It seems to be controlled by a player. Is there something else I need to do to take control please.

I have just noticed that there is now a radio menu for FC3 aircraft. Going into the controls configuration menu it looks like it allows you to select different frequencies on up to 3 radios, as in the A-10C. I was wondering if this is supposed to be?

The A/A requires FC3 while the A/G uses the SU25T. So Dave should be able to fly the A/G variant.

The -10 or dash 10 is the official pilots manual for individual aircraft types. Each aircraft has a series of topics to segregate systems for the aircraft. The Dash 10 is the user manual, if you like.
