Thanks for your post Toriy. As I mentioned to BigNewy, I did a bit of digging on google and apparently external lighting for the Yak is optional and I managed to find pictures to prove this. I just thought it would be nice to have. As you pointed out, it would also be nice to be able to mount the NS430 somewhere too. I generally fly in VR and it is quite difficult with the virtual gps in the middle of the screen.

I’ll agree on that. I’d love to see the Jag in DCS, especially those over wing sidewinder launchers. Awesome

Pictures for you BigNewy. They are off the internet but they are off real Yak-52’s. Also according to google they can fit external lights as optional extras.

I have come to accept that anything asked of Eagle Dynamics does not come quickly BigNewy. All I ask is that it is considered and I get some form of response. As you point out this is a wish list and as the real Yak-52 can be fitted with external light as an extra. I only wondered whether it was possible for ours…….

I also still have a licence for the hawk. I bought mine shortly before you in fact. If I could download Version 2.5.3 of DCS just so I could fly the T1, I would. Fortunately, as someone pointed out, we have the T-45 Goshawk, which is just as good. This aircraft has a special place for me seeing that I used to work on it that’s it.

I fully agree on both sides of this topic. The only issue I have with the car bit is that, even though a company goes under and your particular car part cannot be procured anymore, you can still drive your car until it needs a part that would render it unusable. In the case of the T1 Hawk, it was simply taken away from those of us that purchased it, me being one of them. I believe ED tried to buy the rights to it from VEAO but they wouldn’t sell. The reason behind this, I guess we will never know. Yes, Rudel, stolen is a strong word that is probably not right in this context but many feel aggrieved that they cannot fly it anymore. I have tried downloading the earlier version of DCS to re-enter the T1 but I have had no success. thanks for this topic. Interesting to get a few peoples views on it.

I’ve been flying it quite a bit. I have been trying to adjust the roll and yaw setting and it still drifts. Admittedly it is a lot more stable than it was and the startup is a bit more realistic. I’m not a pilot but it just seems like a piston engine reaction now.

Pure and simple. The real Yak-52 is capable of being flown at night. Can our one have cockpit lighting and external lights please.

I would use the Off(Hold)<>Idle mode personally.

I’ve figured it out for myself

I am trying to make a mission which requires the radio tuning knobs to be set to a certain frequency to activate a trigger. So, the item numbers are 88 for the MHz knob and 89 for the KHz knob with the ranges from 0,-90 and 0,110 respectively. How does the knob rotation range equate to the argument range in this case? I’ve asked on the Mission Builders Facebook page but got no response.
