Thanks for the info everyone. I’ll give it a go when I get some time and get back to you. I’ll try without mods as well just to be sure. The mods I have have never failed me before but who knows….. I can now confirm that it was indeed mods that caused the issue although, which one, i have yet to determine. Still don't understand why it was just that mission that was affected. It doesnt make any sense. Thanks again to ASW and Rudel_chw for offering help.

Please forgive if this has been flagged already. OK so i was going through the pilot start up training mission and all that loaded was a blank Caucasus map. The briefing suggests that you are on the Stennis but there is no ship on the map. If i go into the Mission Editor, the ship is present but no aircraft is on it. If i try the RIO start up training mission, it goes as advertised. Any Cold start mission loads normally. Is this a known issue or have i done something wrong?

Starting to feel that way too. I’m also very fond of DCS and have a lot of modules but it is nice just to go back to basics and the Yak fills that requirement, it’s just that it flys like a supermarket shopping trolley that requires constant correction. I’m sure the real aircraft is not like that.

Hard to believe, after all this time, there has STILL! Been no comment from any of the ED staff, even though they have been called out.

Oh well, was just a thought. Besides there are too many countries have their fingers in the Tornado pie for anyone to get accurate information about them and the Typhoon isn’t owned by the UK.

You are right about the Radar being secret of course. Not sure about the brits not giving info away. I doubt ED has ever bothered to ask. They are too concentrated on US and European aircraft to care. My thoughts exactly. Seems a waste having the Falklands, we have the Pucara and a-4, albeit community mods. We have the Mirage. We even have the Hermes and Illustrious mods. All that is missing is the Harrier.

Having worked on these iconic aircraft. I would love to be able to fly it, pure and simple. They are no longer in active service so there shouldn't be any issues producing it, in theory.Im sure that the systems used by current DCS aircraft can be incorperated. What does everyone think?

I agree Phantom. There just isn’t enough people complaining about it.

As the title requests, it would be nice to have the NS430 integral to the Yak-52 instrument panel especially on maps that have a lack of NDB systems present.

On first entering the compartment, I get a curser. If I go back to the cockpit, then re-enter the cargo bay it isn’t there. You are right, the only thing I can interact with is the radio.

I have the mouse curser in all positions other than the loadmasters position. I found this out during the start up tutorial when it asks you to operate the ramp from the aft position. There is no mouse curser to operate the buttons. I thought I was doing something wrong. I’ve tried the Alt-C key combination with no change.

Seeing as the first time I commented on this is went unnoticed I have decided to repost it. The loadmaster position mouse curser does not appear even after selecting it. I found this during the start up tutorial which makes selecting the load master’s position rather pointless.

I too love flying the Yak-52 but need voice attack to bring up the knee board as I fly in VR. I try to make mission based flights as aerobatics don’t interest me much. The knee board has been unaccessible via key binding for ages. I have put this on the forums multiple times but it has clearly been ignored by ED. Not to mention the untrimmable yaw issue.

How about a functional end of runway final arm point with armourer crew?

I have found when coming into the hover from forward flight the aircraft slips violently sideways when entering ground effect. Has anyone else encountered this?

The loadmaster position appears under the aircraft for me, whilst the pilots and flight engineer appear in the right place. There is no mouse curser whilst in the loadmasters position as well, or, none that I can see anyway.

It takes me nearly 2 days to do a fresh install with all modules, maps, campaigns and the like. Admittedly, my internet speed isn’t great but I wouldn’t wish a fresh install on anyone.

My pilot does not seem to be racking up any flying hours in the logbook. I have spent the day flying all sorts of aircraft only to find i have 0 hours flying time at the end of it. What have i done wrong please?

I have noticed that the radio and fuel indication displays do not line up with their respective instruments. This happens both using TrackIR and VR.

The above seems to have worked Flappie, so thanks for that, however, I have still yet to reassert my original settings so we’ll have to see.
