  1. Hi everyone, I'm flying in SP with unlimited ammo. What I've noticed is, after shooting for a while the bullet velocity decreases insanely. For example, P51 50cals drop like 100m vertically after about 200-300 meters. Also, when chasing an opponent at high speed, it's almost like the bullets cannot catch up with him. Dear DCS devs, could you please shine some light on this, is this normal or is it a bug? I have a track file, where at the end you can clearly see what the issue is, when I fire at a building less than 500 meters away and bullets barely reach it and drop short. This issue happens with all the warbirds. It kind of defeats the purpose of the Unlimited Ammo difficulty setting, as it renders machine guns and cannons useless after certain period of time. Say I want to set up a scenario with a lot of enemies as a gunnery practice, but after couple of minutes, I cannot hit anything, so I have to restart the scenario again, wasting my time. If you could do something about it, that would be great. p-51 low 50cal velocity.trk
  2. Thanks guys! Looks like it's time to get back into VR flying
  3. I'd been flying in VR from 2017 till 2020 in other games (had Rift CV1 and Odyssey), but I lost interest. Now, with WWII content in DCS growing, I'm thinking of getting back into VR. However, I'm a bit concerned about my PC, whether it will handle it. Currently I have: i5-12600K EVGA RTX 3080 XC3 32GB RAM 32OOMHz M.2 SSD 2TB I'm thinking of getting an HP Reverb G2 and running DCS at the headset's native resolution, without supersampling. I'm playing in SP, mostly WWII campaigns by Reflected. Will the PC able to maintain 45 HZ with reprojection?
  4. I play SP with unlimited ammo and I've noticed that on certain aicraft, specifically Fw-190A8, Spitfire and P-51 the projectile speed significantly decreases and spread increases after a certain amount of rounds fired. Probably when you shoot more rounds than the default capacity of the particular aircraft. The projectiles' speed decreases so much that they barely catch up with the aircraft I'm chasing. This is weird, since I didn't notice that on P-47 no matter how many rounds I shoot. Also, playing latest Open Beta, if that matters. Anyone else noticed this?
