  1. Yaaay! Reflected, I took your advice, disabled the trim mod (trim is definitely more challenging without it but...) and ran DCS Repair. No engine shutdown and I flew for over 1:45 hours. I got 2 190s but crashed looking at my kneeboard trying to navigate home. Doh! Anyway, it was a blast and I'll be jumping into this campaign every chance I get. Thank you sir for the work AND the support. Virtual beer hoisted to you
  2. I appreciate the feedback and it's good to know that a mission trigger isn't involved. I do have one unofficial mod that slows the trim adjustment rate. I can disable that and see what happens. Since this happens after about a half hour of flight time would you guys be willing to look at a trk file and comment on what may be happening if shutdown occurs even after mod disabling. Flying this over and over for this long with no indication of the problem source just isn't an option. That said I acknowledge that it's probably something on my end so I'd like to get myself sorted out. Truly appreciate your responses and the incredible work put into creating this campaign, Reflected.
  3. It is an instant seize. No explanation in the after mission report. I switched fuel tanks (external to main) about 5 minutes earlier. I've been flying single missions for several months now and can manage the R2800 without mishap. This happens at the same mission point each time (RTB on relief from the 359th). I'm in a slow left turn and POOF. No sound just a stationary prop.
  4. I started this wonderful looking campaign a few days ago and at the same point in the mission (shortly after the flight is relieved to RTB) the engine shuts off. Temperatures are all in the green. RPMs are about 2500 and manifold pressure is less than 50. When I look at the mission summary to see what broke, all that is listed is "Engine Was Shut Down". I have no buttons, voice commands or macros that shut down the engine so I am mystified. Any ideas. As I noted before this happens at precisely the same point in the mission. Thanks for any help!
  5. So it appears that the module is not usable in any of the WW2 missions/campaigns. Too bad but it wasn't expensive. Thanks for checking it out Daemoc.
  6. If the NS 430 module isn't supposed to work with dates earlier than March 28, 1994 then why is does it work with the P-51 but the P-47 just says "No GPS Posit". It's not a deal breaker but it does seem inconsistent. Any thoughts or recommendations?
  7. That will work! I'll try that tonight guys. Much appreciated!
  8. You are spot on Rudel but my issue is I want to make screenshots of the P-47D-30 specific vs the P47D-40 specific controls (I am just starting the P-47D after a years long affair with the jets). I find it easier to figure out sensible HOTAS mappings with these printouts. I did try the UI route but no joy (the newly UI assigned screenshot keypress doesn't show in any of my modules). Unfortunately DCS wants to detect my keypress and direct me to its assigned command. I end up in a loop of bringing up the control listing then pressing "print screen" only to be shown the "print screen" control assignment and no screenshot of the module controls section I was attempting to capture. It's a bit frustrating but certainly no a game killer. Interestingly enough, in the past I was able to take print screens in this manner while flying the A-10C and FA-18D. This is a relatively recent development (at least for me). If you can help, great. If not, I truly appreciate your response above. Many thanks!
  9. Thanks pete_auau. I am using the sa page and am able to find and link up with the tanker. Chain_1, I thought the X channel strange in this mission because I spent a lot of time in the A-10C module and A2A Tacan always (as I remember) used the Y channel. Nonetheless, I spent a solid week trying to figure this out on my own before coming here for much needed assistance. Thanks guys!
  10. Ok, so if the AA mode can't be selected currently what do you do if the tanker TACAN code is the same as a nearby airfield. I am running into this in the 3rd mission of Eastern Friendship. The tanker TACAN is 31X but so is Senaki Air Base so the TACAN always defaults to Senaki and never the tanker. Any thoughts?
  11. Problem solved. For whatever reason "flir_texture.dds to DCS\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Cockpit\IndicationResources\MDG\" was NOT copied. The original DCS file was still listed. A manual copy and paste from your zip file did the trick. Great, great, great mod! Installation, however, needed significant rework. Thanks for your hard work on this. It has made TGP, in particular, much more user friendly! Good hunting! Radial Madness
  12. Hi Harker, I want to use this mod badly but seem to be having issues with the latest DCS "stable" version recognizing your work! Using your zip file "FA-18C_LCD_MDIs.Zip, I extract "FA-18C Hornet LCD MDIs by Harker" into my Username\Saved Games\DCS\Liveries folder. I then extract the "Mods" folder into the DCS World\_Mods folder for OvGME activation. I am able to activate the "Mods" in OvGME but launching DCS and checking Options/Special/Custom Cockpit only shows the default cockpit as an option. Launching a mission shows the standard green MDIs. I've spent hours on this to no avail and I'm not unfamiliar with mod installation. Ay suggestions? This looks great! Thanks in advance. Radial Madness
  13. Well no response for a week and I decided to take matters in my own hands (I must say I am a bit disappointed in the support on this). In order to get the campaign moving again I created a new entry to the logbook.lua (after backing up the original of course) that looks like this: [46] = { ["datetime"] = "Mon Mar 21 16:01:49 2022", ["agKills"] = 0, ["aaKills"] = 0, ["result"] = 0, ["deathsCount"] = 0, ["stage"] = 11, ["mission"] = "CI_10_v2.miz", }, -- end of [46] This enabled the campaign to move on to mission 10 (It shows mission 10 as a failure in the campaign summary screen but now allows it to be the active mission). For any users that find themselves in a similar situation, I hope this will help you to continue your progression.
