MEMORANDUM FOR ALL DCS F-14 PERSONNEL FROM: Recruiting Officer, VF-111 SUBJECT: Requisition for Applicant F-14 Aircrews and Other Interested Parties VF-111 SUNDOWNERS is seeking new PILOT and RADAR INTERCEPT OFFICER aircrew of all skill levels. VF-111 currently operates the F-14B Tomcat as a member squadron of Carrier Group One (CG-1). Our mission set is air superiority, fleet defense, and strike. We train for complex large scale operations and emphasize the execution of realistic procedures and tactics where possible (and practicable). We utilize SRS for voice communication during flight. Official flight times are Sundays at 2030 Eastern Time with unofficial flights and training events throughout the week. Correspondence and planning during off hours is typically conducted via Discord. The on-boarding process consists of a probationary period where applicants will be given time to familiarize themselves with the squadron and the nature of our operations. Applicants are introduced to our training program which will allow them to build confidence in their aircraft, and attain proficiency in our procedures. Once an applicant has become sufficiently acclimated to the environment and all parties involved have determined the applicant is a good fit, full membership will be granted. Ages 18 plus preferred- good attitude and team mindset required. I would love a WW2 Pacific option.....My favorite theater of WW2 both my grandparents served in the theater and the Japanese planes would be awesome to fly...I also think the Kate and Oscar would be cool to fly...

I am new to the WW2 DCS info....There is a Pacific theater being designed? I would be in for sure..... I know the Marianas is coming up....Will that also be WW2?

They have something like this called vLSO in P3D with the VRS TACPACK environment...Was very cool...In DCS would be AWESOME....so many cool things coming ...I need a GO FUND ME page so I can quit my job and fly these planes all day long

As a voice over studio owner I would be willing to voice the LSO part IF needed....

I will memorize start up procedures and head to the boat...I will BBQ myself a few times and hopefully learn...I started flight simming only so I could fly the TOMCAT...was an un realized dream I had in 86 when I didn't get a slot-No never was in the NAVY was ROTC though..This will feel pretty cool....Looking forward to it...
