  1. I have the same problem, with 2.9. No white dot / can't see the white dot in VR. Can't click the antenna symbol, so stuck in the common room. Also (in VR) DCS hangs when trying the "Start Microphone Test" on the Options screen. Just found out I can see the white dot when in an external view and click on the VOIP menu. Then go back to cockpit view.
  2. Tool Tips now work for me in every plane I have flown (F-5, F-16, F-18, BF 109) (Latest OB, MT, VR G2, no mods)
  3. I sometimes see a similar effect in VR (hp G2). The lighting or angle seems to make a difference. Didn't notice before the update.
  4. For me, DCS was frequently crashing on mission exit. As per advice in this thread I set the Windows 10 page file to 32768 (32GB of ram) and the crashing has stopped.
  5. They do look good. Future updates should make them even more incredible.
  6. For me, really looking forward to the clouds / weather simulation, Vulkan, AI and VR improvements .... Come to think of it I am excited about most of the discussed 2022 developments.
  7. Pex I had a Fractal Design, Celsius S24 CPU water cooler, 2 quite fans for the rad, no lights and worked well.
  8. The clouds are much better, that along with the lighting, VR is fantastic!

    Thankyou

The patch is very good, thank you!
  10. The P51 will burst into flames and smoke (can see an initial burst of flame, then steady flame & black smoke) from a 109 cannon hit. Don't know if it correct or not but it looks good! Maybe its from hits / damage on some place other than the fuel tanks?
  11. Yes, it needs to be refreshed.
  12. Between Me-262 and Hellcat I would pick the Me-262. It would be out of the ordinary for DCS WW2 and I think it would be very cool
  13. A few weeks ago I put in brighter light bulbs too (over my rig), I think it helped.
  14. I hang the cable over my seat from a bungee cord that is attached to the ceiling. The bungee cord gives a little if needed.
  15. Today in the BF190 I had a 'propeller governor failure' after getting shot-up by a B-17. The center dash was shaking so bad I thought it was going to fall off LOL. Well, maybe something else was causing the dash to shake but that was listed in the after flight briefing. Also the wing tip nav lights don't cast a strange glowing light across the top of the wings anymore.
  16. Thanks, don't know what I was doing before but I have it figured out now.
  17. I don't think I had to do that before with the auto start but I will give it a try.
  18. In the most recent OB, when I do a cold start in the BF 109 (auto start or manual start) the PROP PITCH INDICATOR does not change with throttle changes. After take-off and flying for a few minutes the engine will fail due to engine over revving. Starting in the air or 'runway hot' the prop pitch indicator does change with throttle changes and the prop pitch seems to work as it should.
  19. Version 2.5.6.45317 was running well for me but the last two versions including today's version 2.5.6.47224 has poor frame rates, when a few other units are present. For example 4 109's vs 4 Spits
  20. I didn't know this was built in to the TM Warthog throttle, glad I found this! Now I guess I have to bolt down the throttle base to keep the whole thing from moving around when lifting over the 'hump'. Thank you fellow pilots!
  21. For me, in VR the F-86 cockpit looks better after last patch, including the shadows.
