  1. @Vine_dog and @Urbi: how cool is that! Honestly I was hoping a little bit the model would inspire somebody to make a livery - but this is already more than I hoped for. The 206-L is just a beautiful platform for skins in real world. Inspires me as well to go further with the mod (winter is coming...)
  2. Not able to find them here... maybe my 2.7 Version is too old. But if from Razbam - are they in the South Atlantic Scenery or are they free available? Cant find an info so far...
  3. Yes, a single pilot so far. But for now missing any detailed interior.
  4. I have one. Will post it. Especially now after @Eight Ball has released the construction vessel.
  5. Thanks guys - great to see you like it!
  6. This little package contains a Bell Longranger L3 type helicopter model with some liveries. This is only AI and has only some basic animations, PBR textures and no damage model or weapons. It also has some model and texture fixes to be made, but it takes forever and so I thought I might as well release it before waiting another 6 months...I made this for myself to gain/improve some skills in 3D modelling, texturing and lua scripting, and because I like to get more civil Helicopter OPs into DCS. Tested with DCS 2.7.8. UPDATES: current version: 0.1 - liveries pack provided by @Urbi (not available anymore) - liveries pack provided by @crazyeddie (separate link see "ADDONS") DOWNLOAD: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7yt7rbqgol495ei/Bell_206-L3 AI.zip?dl=0 INSTALL: Unzip the package. 1. Copy the content of "Liveries" into your "Saved Games/DCS/Liveries" folder. 2. Copy the content of "tech" into your "Saved Games/DCS/Mods/tech" folder The package includes a basic livery template. ADDONS: - @crazyeddie provides a beautiful new liveries package, download here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/n82g1x6485p3hjg/crazyeddies_Bell 206 Liveries.zip?dl=0 CREDITS: This mod was inspired through the work from Upuat, EightBall, Nibbylot and Damientrix. I used some snippets of lua-scripts from each of these authors and modified them for this project, as I did prior to my HH-60 mod. The 3D model of the helicopter was downloaded from GrabCad and it is allowed to be used for royalty free usage and distribution. The author of the original CAD model is Mr. John Fall, and I am grateful he allows this model to be used for free and appreciate his beautiful CAD work. I made a lot of changes to the original model though, and had to import it into my 3D environment with a number of tedious conversions. Finally, thanks to Urbi and Crazyeddie who reworked textures and provided additional (and enhanced) liveries. Anyway, I hope you like it. Have CIVIL fun!
  7. Now, THAT is really something NEW! Amazing work. You bring a heavy lot of inspiration into the world of DCS. Absolutely appreciated!
  8. This is fantastic, Eightball! many thanks for all the work and providing it to the community.
  9. Yes, but only when finding the time... Intention is to make it flyable, which by itself is not the issue. But the amount of work to be done for a proper interior and working cockpit is just immense...
  10. Sure, right north of Stanley airport on the beach - see images and map
  11. I saw the penguins where they are supposed to be near Port Stanley - really cool. You need to be close though.
  12. @Rick50 @FupDuck see here, page 9 of this topic
  13. Yes, please find the link on first page. (Screenshots of your livery are welcome!).
  14. Thank you @bandit648 for the detailed search and find of the cause.
  15. I tried to reproduce the sound issue, but I cannot. All fine here. r.
  16. Thanks @Arrow11 and @roobarbjapan, inspiring image and work! Glad to see the mod is used.
  17. very good initative to make an official thread with this fantastic mod. you have done significant NEW work with this mod, and I can absolutely understand the limitations you face due to locked SDK stuff - thanks very much for the detailed explanation. Anyway, keep on going, as you see so many people just enjoy the Blackhawk, and so do I. Again many thanks for sharing your impressive work with the community! r.
  18. Thank you, I just thought it might have been adressed now since in the last beta update reports they say that at least Helicopter AI can now take cargo from ships. I did not test that though.
  19. I wonder if this is a bug - I cannot get helicopter sling load ops working from moving ships: - either I place a cargo on a vessel and connect it to the naval unit in ME: cargo stays in place on moving vessel BUT will not appear in cargo Comms menu in game - or I place a cargo on a vessel and do NOT connect it to the naval unit in ME: cargo stays at ABSOLUTE position, vessels moves - cargo not (so vessel moves away from cargo), but it is available in comms menu -> both do not make sense for naval sling load ops. Do I overlook something or does anybody experience this also? Thx, r
