  1. Thanks Flappie, I will continue to see if this works as I think my drives are fast enough, but will take you suggestion into consideration if it stops working.
  2. I apologize if this is the wrong category to place this question. I just upgraded to windows 11 from 10 and deleted all the content on the hard drives as I didn't like how I set things up, especially with DCS OpenBeta. I had files on C and D and it didn't make a lot of sense. I found out that there is the ability to transfer files to another hard drive and using the command prompt in windows to make the PC think that it is still reading from the main hard drive. In command prompt the command appears somewhat like this: mklink /J "C:\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Caucasus" "F:\DCS Modules\Terrains\Caucasus DCS OpenBeta was loaded and stays on my main hard drive, then I put Caucasus and the F16 and F18 onto an external drive just to test it. I applied the mklink to each of these successfully. I was able to get into multiplayer, the plane loaded completely, but the map didn't seem to have any ground. The water base was everywhere and other players seemed to load on a flat solid something, but every attempt to spawn would ther plane would just fall then crash way below where the surface would be. I exited and ran the quicker 'Repair' feature, and got rid of extra files. I don't know if the repair feature just re-installed Caucasus and the two planes back onto C drive. In the attachments I will put a screen snip of the files I can see in the computer files. I think the diagonal arrow on the side of the file means that it is still pulling from the external drive? The SU-25 and Tf51D mustang are not installed in the sim. Thanks to whoever can answer! null
  3. Thank you draconus, I will look into this and see if it works. Thank you, SC
  4. The F14 both A and B in Open beta will not move for me, it worked fine up until the latest update. The indicators both on the upper-right UFC are the right pointing arrow and the rectangle. Due to these indicators not moving, the Oversweep flag does not appear and I cannot put the wings into automatic mode, and reset the sweep.
  5. Hello Flappie, I actually did not do this, but I found a solution at least in the F18 in cockpit. I did a full Repair DCS World Open Beta, checked scan All Files, and checked clear older files. This seemed to work for the in game in cockpit inaccuracy of the cursor. I have not tried the window function yet (Alt+Enter) as my computer froze last time (before the repair), but I do have the SRS popping up over the game in fullscreen. I will try to play with that function when the multiplayer server restarts. Thanks for all your help!
  6. I found this file and the line to change, however, it already says: = false,
  7. Not sure what I was using before the update, but i switched it to the native res. in game after seeing your answer, and it keeps freezing, but this may be due to SRS loading after i try to join a server. SRS starting is why i started to load the game in windowed format, but now i cannot stop the game from starting in full screen, and I have unchecked the full-screen option in game. Also the Atl.+Enter doesn't exit from full screen. So I am stuck.
  8. I start the game in small window mode then I go to full screen after the plane/map/weather, and everything else is loaded. In the small window the mouse is accurate and it can perform all of the functions over the switches and buttons and use the mouse wheel functions. When I press Left Alt+Enter to change to full-screen mode the accuracy is gone. This is just as of yesterdays 2.7 update, though in the previous version I would have to click the left mouse button to get it to function properly in any new screen such as the Esc. menu or the briefing window. I have only attempted this in the F18 and in multiplayer. This happens in Beta, which i guess is the only version updated to 2.7 now. Thanks for any help, this makes the game unplayable

  10. This is in the Beta version, happens both in single player an multiplayer (which is a lot worse if it hits a player). There is a track file below if anyone wants to take a look. Thanks for any help. F16 A-A button firing missles.trk

  12. Here it is, sorry haven't paid attention to this in a while, here is the site I uploaded it to. You can skip to time>2:51 The missles fire without pressing the weapon release buttons or the trigger, just having master Arm on, and clicking the A-A button on the UFC
  13. I think it is about high time that we had only one version of DCS WORLD, it shouldn't be a big problem to have only one. I almost never play DCS world as most of my favourite servers are on the Beta version and all the new planes come out on the beta version. Do you have both versions and use both, or am I crazy for clogging up my computer with two huge versions of the sim?
