  1. Same problem here and with Windows 11. I'm quite new to PCs, being primarily a mac user, so what are GUIDs, where are they, and how would I export them and to where? I spent a long time binding joystick buttons and I'd hate to have to configure them all again. Simple steps please as I'm getting old as well!
  2. I think I get it now. Nothing is simple round here is it? I've done quite a bit of supporting for this game already!
  3. Can you clarify: It says: "Your existing DCS: Normandy 1944 map will be updated for free so that the whole area of the original map is in the same high-detail as in the DCS: Normandy 2.0." Then it says: "If you wish to, you may pay $14.99 USD to upgrade to DCS: Normandy 2.0 for all the benefits described above." So what do you get for $14.99 that isn't in the free update in the first sentence? Confused - again!
  4. Thanks guys. Got it now. Seen George in action on Youtube too. AH-64 will be next on my shopping list!
  5. This might sound like a daft question, but how does a 2 seat aircraft, such as the AH-64 or F-14 work in DCS, when there's only one player? You can't be in both seats at once!
  6. Well I'm glad to have been of help to someone then! Meanwhile my problem is solved: My USB hub had gone bad on me. I tested it by plugging straight through, which worked. Now it's gone completely. Not had it that long either. Very annoying. It was the fact that nobody else had experienced this that made me think hardware. Ok thanks everybody.
  7. Thanks. Looks like I'll have to bite the bullet and raise a ticket then...
  8. Hello! Are we saying that you can't use the mouse wheel to turn knobs like you can in the Blackshark?
  9. None at all? Oh dear. Perhaps it's a binding issue that Eagle haven't mentioned? Perhaps it's me getting it wrong again?
  10. Good to have seen this thread. If this happens to me I'll know what to do. By the way, are we talking about the X-52 or the X-52 PRO? I've got both and wondering what is best for the Hornet.
  11. Just starting out in the F/A-18. For some reason, the scroll wheel has no effect when trying to rotate the knobs (even though the correct icon appears over them). I'm having to use the mouse buttons instead. Any ideas guys?
  12. Thanks. That's going to come in very handy I think.
  13. I'm pretty new to this as well. Just jumped into this plane. Looks good to me. The only trouble with clickable cockpits is that sometimes you have to take your eyes off what you're concentrating on, especially if the switch is near the floor or behind you somewhere. I found this with the Blackshark. One thing I've learned with DCS is that you need patience. I found It can take weeks before your flights stop ending upside down on the ground. But you eventually get the hang of it and it's ultimately a rewarding experience. I didn't know about the backspace key in the training missions. What does it do?
  14. I wish they'd said that on their website. Oh well, I've gone for the F/A-18 now. Should be fun.
  15. Time to get the credit card out then. Trouble is, the A-10C module seems to have been deleted in favour of something else, and the F/A-18 is now being advertised as an 'early access' version. Not really sure why that is or what it means as I thought it had been around for a couple of years. Has anyone got it?
