  1. Oh I see. Thanks for the heads up. I will try to get used to it then. Thank you for your help Bignewy
  2. No problem, you are welcome. I don't know if this could be addressed as a bug and fixed, please. I have tried the Hind to check and you can open the Petrovic menu and interact with him without releasing the modifier with no problem, so I have unconsciously developed some strong muscular memory with it and that is what was driving me nuts with George.
  3. Hmm... It's the correct track. The first chooper that disappears is cause I mistakenly went back to spectators, is the second one what does what I described. I'm checking the reply right now tho. Anyway, I think I have identified the issue. I'm using a modifier button in my hotas to both open the George menu with one button and interact with him with a 4-way china hat. If I hit the modifier, open the menu and try to interact it doesn't work, like the modifier is stuck with that acion. If I open the G menu, release the modifier and press it again I can use the menu option without problem. Looks like this was the problem.
  4. Sup Nine, here it is. I did a first try and George menu responded well (Aprox half way to the FEBA) When I break left&right to overfly the friendly armored platoon knowing that the enemy is close I try to slave and the menu goes unresponsive, trying any action, change weapon, slave, unslave, whatever, doesn't work. That's when I drop a couple of flares to mark that moment. After a couple minutes later it starts responding again and I can lock some enemies, I drop flares again to mark that event. Right now using George for me is pretty random, sometimes work, sometimes stop working and never comes back, sometimes it works intermittently like in this track. Can't attach the track, is too big, D/L here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tbxg4o1vfrjj2j0/George not resp.trk?dl=0
  5. Hi, sorry for such a late reply I had to open the .miz file (it works just like a .zip) and copy some info of the old mission over the same parts of a newly generated .miz
  6. Hi there, I have an old oc'ed i7 920 running on an Asus P6T SE with 24gb DDR 3 that is the max RAM that mobo can handle. I've squeezed it as much as possible but I think it's reaching it's end, I actually had to underclock it cause I started to do some weird stuff. I'd like to build a new PC but unfortunately the budget is not too high. My intention is to recycle the screen, GPU and one 500gb SSD, so I need advice on: -CPU -Mobo with as much USB ports as possible -32gb RAM -1tb SSD -Cooling system (either air or liquid, but it has to be effective, it's hot on summer where it live) -PSU -Box -Some good quality thermal paste to put it together. Current GPU is an Nvidia 1070, that I'm planning to extend till the 4000 series comes out, so the new build it would be better some Intel based stuff right? As it should work better with Nvidia GPUs, or does it have nothing to do? I don't have much idea about hardware tbh. The budget should be no more than 700€ Edit: I forgot to point, the main use of the system will be 95% playing DCS and ArmA3, I rarely play any other games, and just some light video/photo editing and typical low demanding PC stuff. I appreciate any help, thanks in advance.
  7. I have had this issue several times. Sometimes the George menu works as intended and suddenly stops responding and I can't interact with him at all, happens in SP and MP. Any tip or workaround?
  8. Three monitors here, same issue, G-Menu is right at the center of main. Can see the target list ok tho.
  9. Solved. It was an older mission that I started editing last year, before the last time ED uptaded the Caucasus' meshes.
  10. Thanks for your reply. I know the difference between both modes, and I like more the CCIP in this case, anyway, as I said before, the seerpoint is missaligned so I don't think CCRP would work in this case.
  11. Hi, I've encountered a weird issue in a mission I'm editting right now. I was testing the mission objectives using F-16 with Mk-82 bombs and they keep falling long of the CCIP, after a couple of tries I noticed the steerpoint was a few hundred feet closer to my position, when in the ME in placed right over the target, whatever the azimuth I'm engaging from, it's always closer to me. At first I though it had to do with the barometric pressure, as I changed it in the ME and later noticed that the plane in air start has the usual 29.92, but matching it in the altimeter doesn't fix it, nor it does setting the standard 29.92 QNH in ME. Also double-checked the steerpoint altitude and it's correce, just at ground level. So I tried a fresh mission and there it works flawlessly as usual, with the steerpoint being in the right over some targets and the bombs falling rlly close to the CCIP. If I load again the mission I'm editing the issue persist, if I create a new F16 in different location with a different steerpoint the issue persist, but only in this specific mission. Am I missing something? Someone has a clue of what's going on? Here's a shot video comparing the actual mission with a fresh one, note the steerpoint deviation. Edit: I tried with the F-18 and same thing, it seems it's a mission problem, but I have no idea of how to fix it.
  12. Hi there. First I want to clarify that I'm pretty noob at ME and have zero idea of lua scripting, I don't even consider getting into it, and somehow I struggle with ME triggers that should be much easier to use, I think. I'm editing a mission that uses an electronic war aircraft to jam SHORADs to support an OCA strike disabling some Sa-8, so I thoguht of setting up a moving zone on the EW plane so when it is close enough to the SHORADs the will change to ROE weapons hold using user flags and switched condition triggers. The problem is that I'm getting inconsistent results, some times AI doesn't fire, but most of the time they still fire at me even with the conditions met to hold fire (I set a text message every time the flag is changed to ensure triggers are working, and they do). I have done a basic mission using the same logic (just changing blue coalition AC inside/outside zone to activate the triggers instead of enemy SAMs inside moving zone) for quick testing, and as I said, SAMs keep firing at me most of the time. I'll upload it if someone wants to check. SAM-8 ROE change.miz
