Sorry for being slow here guys, but are you saying I can purchase the game at Steam, but not download it there. But come back to this site and download the game here and when asked to input serial number, I just use the steam number? Does the install files from this site also place the game in the steamapps or just normal directory? For $20, this might be the thing to finally let me jump in:) Thanks!

Thanks everyone. Let me clarify. The link I posted suggested there were some details about the beta 5 release and potential timings. I was only looking to find out what was said in that thread since I don't have access. I know games and updates are done only when they are done.

I'm finally thinking of taking the plunge, but since it will take my computer system a decade to download, I wanted to make sure I was getting the latest :) I saw this other thread below about the potential release date of beta 5, but when I select it the detail thread inside where it might be mentioned, says I don't have permission. I'm assuming it is a link to the beta only forum pages. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=65668 With that said, can somebody place the answer here as to when beta 5 is due? I would hate to start the beta 4 download today and beta 5 come out tomorrow :) I also prefer a full download versus just an update in case that is an option. Just prefer to start fresh :) Thanks!

Can someone clarify if this update is a complete redownload or is this a separate patch file that just gets applied? If I were to just join the beta today, would the main files I download be already patched? Thanks!

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I could not find it. Although I like a good flight sim, I have to admit I'm not the best at them. I thought I read somewhere this game would have a "game" mode or something like that which would make it easier to fly. Is there any details as to what this means? How much easier does it make it? What kind of things does it simplify? Now hard core flight simmers, be kind to me and not make fun of my inability to master these kind of games :) Game looks really great and can't wait to read all the good feedback!

Yeah, tried both browser and a client. From the client, I was able to get to other FTP sites, just not this one. Same thing with the browser. I'm at a complete lost as to why. Looks like I will be out of luck:(
