  1. Wags's post in two question about ACLS was marked as the answer
    Dear all,
If I might interject. After not having flown a Case 3 in forever, I tested it in the current, public Open Beta today, and it worked as it should (I was more than a bit sloppy though). I suspect where some folks may be running into problems could be:
1- The mission does not have a Link 4 assignment to the carrier. Press and hold the K key to check.
2- You did not first establish yourself in ATC.
3- You tried to Couple outside of line up and glideslope Tilt limits.
I've attached a track to illustrate that it works as designed when performed correctly.

  2. Wags's post in Bug reporting was marked as the answer
Certainly, but there are good reports and not-so-helpful ones. For a truly helpful report, we MUST be able to recreate the issue, or have proper logging to find the root of the problem. So, a report should include:

    1- System specifications and settings
2- Crash log files in case of a crash
    3- Short, to-the-point track file
4- Step by step process to create the issue
5- A report should be based on verifiable facts, not conjecture
6- Place your report in the proper sub forum. We generally have sub forums for bug and problem reporting re most projects, please use them. Don't just throw a bug or problem on to the General DCS World 2.5 forum
7- Stay on topic and don't hijack report threads

Additionally, it's very important to first check (use the search function) to see if a report has already been submitted. Try to avoid duplicate reports. Additionally, "+1" and "me too" reports really don't help, but only add clutter.

A big benefit of the Open Beta process is that it allows us to test the software on a immensely broader set of hardware than we can do otherwise, and this is very valuable. However, Open Beta is certainly not everyone and it might be best for some to wait until the product is finalized.

    Thanks!
  3. Wags's post in Are we limited to 15 waypoints? was marked as the answer
As I've mentioned before, we will have a data base of 60 waypoints (0-59), from which waypoints can be assigned as SEQ1/2/3, PB/PP, or AA WYPT. This is being worked on as part of the MUMI card.
  4. Wags's post in 3rd Party Preorders was marked as the answer
    Dear Sir,
Third party module pre-orders are certainly possible on our eShop and Steam if both publisher and developer agree.
    Kind regards,

  5. Wags's post in ARC-210 Radio Status was marked as the answer
One ARC-210 will be added, RT1, with UHF and VHF functions and related HUD, UFC, STAT page, and COMM changes. This will replace one of the VHF radios.
We still need to add the STAT page and UFC function. Once those are done after the team return from holiday, it will enter internal testing.
Later, after initial release, we'll add the SATCOM functions.
    Kind regards,
    Wags

  6. Wags's post in Sniper pod, DTC, VSR radar gone from "Desired systems"? was marked as the answer
    Dear All,
After our projects staff meeting yesterday, we decided on the DCS: F-16C Viper features list that would bring it out of Early Access. There comes a point where a module is at a complete enough state (of course some will take issue of where that line is) that it provides gameplay well worth the base price. When at that point, we take it out of early access and move it to normal pricing. That does NOT mean that development ceases. The only real change is the price.
The current desired features list is regarding the state to remove it from early access – hence the topic title update and separate list. As mentioned, once out of early access, we'll release a new list of desired features to add post-early access. This list will contain all the items moved from the early access list and several more.
I have generally been making notes of all changes to the early access desired features list, but it’s on me that I forgot to make a note yesterday. Mea culpa.
    Kind regards,
    Wags
