  1. Running 2.5.0.15184. I bought Black Shark 1 using a Russian license way back in the day. Bought a Black Shark 2 upgrade English license. Now, it's telling me to install Black Shark 1 just so I can install the module??
  2. Agreed, I feel like the behavior has regressed over time. I remember when the demo for LockOn came out where you fly iirc an SU27 against a Mirage after the merge and it was basically 50/50 whether I would beat him. He didn't extend ever and kept in a tight turn fight. There's odd defensive behavior in enemy flights too, I just set up a quick dogfight my Su27 vs. two Expert Mirages. Only the flight leader would consistently drop flares, the wingman never dropped flares. Then the would extend away and just make a lazy orbit, then one would make a head on pass. I wish the AI pilot would occasionally notice your IR missile launch and then just dump a load of flares. I wish excellent AI would also fire more than one missile at you.
  3. To keep my key mappings, should I just copy the LUA files to the new folders?
  4. Is it intended for the Mig29s to shoot down the enemy Hinds when they start patrolling? It would be pretty nice if they could, would make sense especially when the 3rd Hind shows up and starts pounding your tanks.
  5. Can you attach it to your post? The rapidshare link is fully used.
  6. Jeff, check the top panel where a bunch of warning lights are, they display when you have the route and auto hover autopilots enabled. I believe turning on Auto hover turns off Route mode but I may be mistaken. Also autohover turns on its own sort of flight director so I don't think you need it, look for the small square and line indicating your direction of travel. The larger line, the higher speed 'drift'; I try to minimize the line and center the small square on the HUD attitude indicator with trim. It usually works although I wish there were more tips in the manual.
  7. It took me awhile to figure out why with all the autopilots on, it wasn't following the waypoints. You are looking for the R key, which turns on Route autopilot. Hit R again to turn it off. Like GGTharos said you need the other items enabled. There's also D next door which will initiate Descent autopilot while you are in Autohover. Its a slow automatic descent while you hold the key down. Its pretty slick.
  8. This explains everything! I think a few times I had trimmed with a lot of rudder and was trucking along, then SNAP! rotor blades flying everywhere. Thanks for clarifying this!
