+1 Especially if we consider that even a nearly 20 years old game had the ability to show the taxi routes and parking spots for ai planes. And I would be interested to know why we can’t deactivate cats in the first place if at least 50% of all pictures of any carrier on google show at least one or more cats obstructed by parking planes.

I don’t believe it would be that hard to implement a logic to select a spawn slot in the ME and of the Carrier later detects it is blocked he puts the plane to another spawn point.

@Larkis: How many civilian planes have been shot down over the last 50 years because they were at the wrong place at the wrong time? Quite a lot, so yes, this happens.

The problem isn’t that the tower talks to us, but that this annoying radio menu pops up by itself and if you press the wrong button because you maybe want to switch the view it cancels your landing intentions for example.

It’s no problem they didn’t use the Phoenix on the F-111...just give me a realistic F-111 for some action over the PG. I would take any version they make.

I believe if there wouldn‘t be a discount for Pre-Order into Early Access a fair amount of people would not buy those modules until they are finished and/or on sale again. After all, paying for EA is a bit of a risk, like seen with the Hawk (or many other games people fell on their nose with). Not to forget you won‘t be able to use everything the module will offer for quite a long time in most cases. The only way paying full price for EA would work I can see is by buying it for a discounted price in the beginning, and when the module is finished you pay the difference to the full price. That way, one would not lose too much money if something goes wrong, and the developer would still get the money. But that system could be a bit complicated to use...AND I personally are very happy with the discount on pre-order. ????

Never heard of an German „nazi bomber“. Fighterbombers or tactical bombers yes, but... That would be like saying something is a CDU bomber (for Germany) or a Democratic/Republican bomber (USA). What I find is really missing are things like SH-3 Sea King, CH-46 Sea Knight, C-2 Greyhound, Prowler, Intruder, Vigilante, Corsair II and Crusader and so on for carrier ops. Or at least believable air traffic around one.

Even a reasonably old radar like an ASR-910 would have no problems detecting a hovering or cruising helo. At least ours had no problem...^^

Just like you said, with 6 AIM-54 they would have been too heavy to land on the boat. Just because they didn‘t use that loadout (in „peacetime“) doesn‘t mean they couldn‘t use it. My understanding is the F-14 was built to get 6 Phoenix up against those bombers and missiles. But I‘ve never seen or read anything about Hornets with 28 bombs (sadly ????) so that‘s another story.

Don‘t know if I understand you correctly as English isn‘t my mother tongue, but a RADAR antenna in several meters height won‘t radiate anything underneath it for quite a big circle, except they put an antenna tilt in it which makes the antenna look down. And that doesn‘t make much sense if they want to look rather far away. Sure you will get a glitch or interference (we were able to hear it on the radio when the antenna of our Airport Surveillance Radar looked into our direction) but that‘s not the Radarbeam which is pointing at you but interferrences which happen to form around the beam. It‘s perfectly safe to stand underneath an antenna.

I‘ve seen enough CH-53 and CH-47 flying to tell you they are far from non-maneuverable. Absolutely +1, especially since the MH-53 would fit perfectly with the Tarawa and the Harrier. CH-46 would be cool also.

I‘ve been on vacation in Dubai for nearly 3 weeks and I‘ve seen exactly one police car. ^^ But what annoys me far more is the fact that there are way top less bushes and trees around Abu Dhabi compared to real life. And 50% of the skyscrapers are missing top...or things like Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, etc.
