A-10C and F-16C: Point track moving target with TGP, slave AGM-65 to point. Easy! F-18C: Point track moving target, slave AGM-65 to point and then learn the point is no longer valid because the moving target is no longer where it was when you initiated track with TGP. I have a hard time believing this is correct modeling!

Varying A/G Radar quality depending on game map
evilnate replied to norman99's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
Yeah I recently noticed the same issue with SoH map. -
Our online group keeps the fun alive in the hornet, and other airframes to boot. We do so by having a bunch of challenging scenarios where there are clear objectives, random threat environments, and no defined path (waypoints). Each time we roll one, we select a mate to be the “mission planner” to make the tactical calls. This would involve how many of us are tasked with strike, tarcap, sead, etc. What direction of approach, sequence and timing etc. etc. After the mission is over, we share tacview replay on discord and try to find what went well and what didn’t. We’ve been doing this 3X per week for years and it’s not getting old yet. While we wait two more weeks for ED dynamic campaign, I recommend finding a group that you enjoy flying with to keep the romance going.

~90% of units disappear from mission ~14 seconds after start
evilnate replied to evilnate's topic in Multiplayer Bugs
Could only reproduce when clients are on a server while a different mission is loaded, and then load the desired mission while they are connected. -
I’ve tried multiple ways to get the dotted circle back while GPS weapons are armed and already designated target, but failed. What I learned is that you can still use HMD to designate other targets even though the dotted circle isn’t displayed on HMD. Give it a try.

I run 4090 with 13900 and G2. With 2.8, I needed to cut most beauty settings off to get 90 FPS. I still have PD 1.0 and MSAA off, but DLSS on quality with sharpening 0.75 and full shadows. Still have 90 FPS. Excellent work ED!

~90% of units disappear from mission ~14 seconds after start
evilnate replied to evilnate's topic in Multiplayer Bugs
Happened again yesterday. I had all clients disconnect from server, loaded mission, and had each squadron go in pit one by one. After that, no issue. Seems like the problem happens when clients are on the server during mission load. Seems like a multiplayer bug. -
Does anyone know how the Q3 compares to the Q Pro?

~90% of units disappear from mission ~14 seconds after start

I should note that I can’t reproduce when I test myself on same dedicated server. My hope is that someone knowledgeable with track files can provide some insight. Please let me know if more data is needed. -
We hosted a new liberation campaign, and ~14 seconds after the mission starts about 90% of units disappear. About the same time some clients said their aircraft blew up. I am unable to reproduce this problem, but we have the track file. Does anyone see any clues how this happened? The units that went missing were not found as dead, but it ruined the mission experience. track file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19looatMayHz84aC4z-rlZ_lxU2u_Suzf/view?usp=sharing Tacview: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19bMVbZZt09Gl4v-XYh3UokwYL86ocyaH/view?usp=sharing
