  1. Personally I like the F16. It can do everything and it seems like a lot of fun to fly. There is a reason why it has been done so many times before. Even though there has been F4. That was a long time ago and adding the F16 into this sim line would be amazing. I have to admit that I like the Tornado as well but it is really limited and just doesn't fly like a F16. Which is also a reason why I am not a big fan of the F18. The F16 is just so much fun to fly around. All this is of course based on many many rears of flying sims ... not for real. Though I am currently in Afghanistan and I see them every day here at Kandahar Air Field. The F16s seem to have a lot of fun around here ... they are the ones who pull the most stunts and show off! And they just have that look about them. Anyway, I can't wait to go back home and get going on the A10. I already bought it and it is downloaded - I just can't play it here on my laptop :( Gonna have to wait until November.
  2. I have owned most HOTAS set ups out there. I still have the Cougar, X52, X36 and CH Fighterstick. I have to say that I use the Fighterstick the most. CH products are great and work well with any sim. The Cougar is really hard on your wrist ater a while unless you spend some coin on updates and mod the stick. But it has a feeling to it like no other. I guess it is the closest you come to the real thing. It's great for F4 or even LockOn but I don't use it for BS. The X52 is a very nice stick but the least realistic. And I find with all the programming options you are likely to use with BS, it just doesn't offer what the Cougar and Fighterstick do. It doesn't have the amount of 4 way switches, thus you might run out of buttons uless you start to program secondary functions (too much for me). So, if I had to only keep one stick I would go with my CH Fighterstick and ProThrottle. But i the end you can't go wrong with any of he choices that people here are talking about.
  3. I just hope that the sales are there so they are able to keep going and actually pull through with the updates. I have seen this too many times where the expansions never came due to lack of sales. Flight sims used to be a big deal... these days there isn't many out there anymore. Sad thing.
  4. Just to throw a question out there [that might already have been addressed]. How about throwing in a tank expansion. So far, from what I have seen in the terrain and overall design of the engine would just offer itself for a battle simulator. Just imagine you have helicopters, tanks and fixed wing all battling it out online. I might be ahead of my time here and we might not be at a level where this can be accomplished to a level needed for a sim like BS.
  5. Just for its versatility - F16. Alternatively, I would love to see nothing more than another good Tornado sim [DI's Tornado still is one of the best sims I have ever played]. F/A18 would be a good addition as well, but for some reason there is something about the Falcon.
