  1. Very cool that we're getting the Chinook so early after all! Personally, I'm still waiting for the EA feature list and then the first test reports, but I'll definitely be buying it at some point. I still have 3 questions about the module: 1) Air-to-air refueling: I assume this means we get a refueling probe, will this then be selectable via the armament menu, like the FCR on the Apache, or just via ME? 2) Digital Automatic Flight Control System (DAFCS): Will this system have a full autopilot in the module in addition to the low level modes? So modes like HDG, ALT/ATT hold? 3) Cargo handling and versatility: What exactly do I mean by palletized standard goods? Does this mean we can use the Chinook to e.g. load Hellfire from an airport warehouse and then unload it in a FARP?
  2. Thanks for checking. Yes, it would be good if you can add a track file.
  3. This sounds very much like the laser spot tracker (LST) was active, check your key assignment. See here for more information on how the LST works and what its behavior is:
  4. I can't say whether the accuracy deviates that much due to the MGRS coordinate differences, but it 'could' well be that you are seeing a side effect of the INU bug here. Try again and reset your INU systems before you mark and engage the targets to see if it makes a difference.

Was genau meinst du?
  6. Hi, can you give us a trackfile of your procedure? Makes it easier to analyse.
  7. No secrets, just watch these videos and practice until you get it right. Helicopter flying requires continuous training. AH-64D Deceleration to an OGE Hover
  8. Hello everyone, I am currently looking into the DCS Warehouse and need a tip or even a solution for my project, as I have not really found a suitable answer so far. I'll try to describe my project as well as possible. The initial situation is a FARP(FARP_London) somewhere in the field, which has no weapons or fuel. I want to supply it with a slingload cargo. When dropping in the trigger zone 'FARP_London_Dropzone' of the cargo 'FARP_London_Ammo_1', for example, the number of AGM-114K in the FARP should be increased by 12. My question now is how I can implement this with a script, for example. Since this action is to be carried out later with several Cargos, the supply should be increased each time these Cargos are dropped in that zone. It would be great if you could give me a tip or something similar. Many thanks and best regards T-Bone dcs_warehouse_test.miz
  9. Hello everyone, I have a question about the mission editor and the subsequent changing of positions of units and structures. Idea: The plan is to have various units and structures such as FARP tent, FARP ammo and fuel truck in an area of an airport, this should represent a kind of warehouse. These should then change their position when certain cargos are set down in a trigger zone. I want to simulate a functional FARP set-up in the field and at the same time introduce some immersion, as the warehouse is then gradually emptied. I went looking for appropriate scripts and included an example in the attached .miz. It works so far, but the FARP tent always spawns at the bullseye and not at the position I defined (in the example at Tabqa airport) Does anyone have an idea how I can solve this behaviour? unit_location.miz
  10. I am aware that it could be the pitot probes, but as I wrote, the anti-ice system is not implemented yet. My question is whether the Apache is affected by icing in its current state and simulates errors or not. It makes no sense to fly in certain weather conditions without this system and I have to take this into account when creating the mission.
  11. We recently flew a mission in sub-zero temperatures (-10°) and strong winds (~20 knots) and had the phenomenon in all aircraft at some point that our speed was no longer displayed correctly or provided incorrect values in the IHADSS. I know that the anti-ice system still needs to be developed and implemented. However, I am primarily concerned with the question of whether icing can occur at the current stage of development and whether the helicopter is affected or not. If so, then we need to pay more attention to the weather conditions. If not, then I would like to try to create a bug report. Thanks for your answers.
  12. With the update: 2.9.3.51704 there is a stuttering during the movement of the PNVS. The stuttering effect increases with increasing speed of the aircraft. Tested on two systems with both AMD and Nvidia GPUs. Deleting the fxo and metashader2 folders did not solve the problem. pnvs_stutter.zip
