I run a 4790k with 16 gb ram and a 1080 with a rift s. Since MT was introduced i can play DCS again on almost all maps, marianas still has the worst performance for me overall. My overall settings are pretty low, but my overall experience is quite smooth. VR shoud be possible but it really depends what you are looking for. Just for an explanation, so you can understand my point of view a bit. I like to have good performance over graphics, as long as i played 2d i was always looking to be at 58+ fps all the time, everything beneath was noticeable stutter for me. I can live with the flashing textures without any AA at all as long as i get my 40+ fps with the rift s.

If you would compare it to racing wheels, the ms ffb2 is the logitech g25/27 and the brunner is a solid direct drive wheelbase. But honestly the best option would be to look for some used ms ffb2 sticks i have now 4 or 5 of them because i bought them between 25 and 50 euros. But i am little bit paranoid and don't wanna miss my ffb at all.

I was able to finish your campaign couple of days ago during my holiday and i have to say, it's a blast! The atmosphere during the whole campaign is fantastic, the voice overs are great and the missions are straight forward. I had to skip 2 missions because of the performance of my system, but that's my system and not your fault, since the rest of the campaign ran very good and smooth in VR for me. I wasn't able to play the campaign earlier, because of my specs, persian gulf and VR. The only issue i had during the whole campaign was, that sometimes the voiceover between the chats in the heli got dropped in favor of the ATC or AWACS. That was sometimes a bit annoying since the chats between the different characters involved really added a lot to the whole atmosphere of the missions. I am going to give the jeff a spin in the trials just to see if i could like it (i got my own problems with modern stuff), but my only real interest for now is your campaign for it. I personally think you did a fantastic job with the creation of that fictional event and everything based around it. Another motivation for me to learn the apache is right on your store page! Keep up the good work and keep us supplied with your wonderful creations. Right now i can't decide what i will try as next campaign, the crew or memory of the hero. Time will tell and entertainment will be enjoyed!

You could use a button on your joystick as a modifier so that the axis for radar and autolock will only be applied if you push the modifier button on your joystick. So you could use the button or the axis with the modifier.

Your line at Target should look like this "x:DCSfolder/bin-mt/DCS.exe" --force_enable_vr --force_openxr In your screenshot there is still the .exe attached at the end which is wrong! Btw i am really getting great results since multithreading. I could fly the apache on the marianas map low above the towns and it only dropped to 33 fps. I mean it was a jitterfest at some point, but nothing compared to the around 28 fps i got on the runway before take off.

I bought the ka50 and p51d before there was the word "world" involved in DCS. And i bought it because i watched videos about the 2 modules and saw all those buttons and switches!

That is the point everybody was talking about before and where the misunderstanding kept happening, that the stick moves its neutral position and its physical position in the cockpit and if you got a ffb stick the stick will move with it. That's one basic feature for forcefeedback which is not working with any razbam module, even if you see the stick moving in the cockpit, my stick stays centered all the time. My next problem is that with every other module with ffb, the stick feels different. I know that there is a huge difference between a ww2 tail dragger with direct control of the surfaces and a jet with a hydraulic system. But all i feel in razbam modules is the same force all the time like a normal joystick with a spring. I have the M2000c (which i don't like cause it's fly by wire, thats also why i don't like the f18 but i haven't known it till i've flown it), the Harrier and the MiG-19 and all feel the same on the stick and i haven't flown any of them longer than probably an hour in all the years since their release. I am not going to buy another razbam module as long as i am not able to enjoy the harrier and mig19.

Would it be possible to save the driver from win10 and just install it on win11, if it doesn't work out of the box with the windows driver update? Or would there be a fundamental change between win 10 and win11?

Could be a great idea for DCS overall, like in the gameplay settings you have a checkbox for somethinge like "use artificial afterburner gate with a button" and in the general settings you could bind that button across all modules with an AB.

100% right, i mean honestly everyone tries to save money where its possible and you already get a really good discount with it. And people can always wait for a sale if their pockets are tight. And if people sacrifce their daily needs, like food, water and clothes, for luxuries like DCS, those people have a serious problem and should seek help, instead of blaming others.

Go to their website and get in contact with them. I ordered a Simshaker Jetpad couple weeks ago and everything worked out fine! Sergio is a great guy!

I bought a Jetpad from Sergio couple weeks ago. If you really want one, you should get in touch with him through his website. The Jetpad from sergio is far superior to the original Jetseat. The simshaker software will only work with the hf8, if simshaker gets updated to include it in their codebase. Same as the Realtus seat which didn't worked out of the box at all with dcs and now you can choose between diffrent pads. If next level racing is able to write their own software for the different flightsims it's fine, but there are a lot and simshaker wings covers quite a range. For racing sims you only need simhub to get it to work with your seat, but i still got me the simshaker wheels addon.

i7-4790k on a 1080 with a Rift S i am happy that i can run most of the campaigns sofar on 40 fps. My settings are pretty low but i only had a limited timeframe in DCS 1.5 where everything looked beautiful and the performance was great on my monitor. Since i got the first KA-50 back in 2011 i sacrificed graphics over performance. Yeah performance for me was better in 2.7. in comparison to 2.8., but i really hope that multithreading and vulkan will fix that problem in 2 weeks!

Take a look in DCS in the Settings at the Audio page, you can setup the devices you want to use with dcs directly. I set it to my rift speakers and mic since the automatic switch from speakers to oculus headset doesn't work as good for me as it should. So i set my oculus devices for audio in DCS and don't have to switch. Maybe its got reverted somehow like it happens with the button configs from time to time. Edit: Sorry didn't read the part with ingame UI, I have 2 devices on my oculus headset a normal one and a virtual one maybe you have mixed them up since mine don't work when i select the virtual device.

I bought the A10C + Combined Arms (with DCS 1.2.) from Amazon for 15 Euro 7-8 years ago and i still feel a little bit guilty.

Nah mig 19 doesn't have the trim function implemented i tested a couple of days ago. The only reason i haven't flown a razbam module in years is the missing ffb implementation for me. I really would love to fly the mig19 but it doesn't feel right compared to all my other modules. Last time i tested a couple years ago, before the went on to redo the m2000c, it was the only plane where ffb was somehow working. Haven't tested again since i can't stand fbw jets, but from the feeling on the stick it was their best module. I am not really interessted in the f-15 anyways, but i will get it if i read good things from people with ffb sticks. @Razbam: If you need a ffb stick for development i would gladly send you a microsoft ffb2, i bought like 4 or 5 of them for 50€ and less and could spare one if that means we ffb users get a better implementation!

I don't have Winwing Products but i would recommend you plug in one device after the other to see which one will cause the trouble. Like start with one device and see if it works for 10 minutes or more then plugin the next device. If you start to run into troubles again, unplug all devices and start with the last one as first one and see if you got the same problem again. If it is the last device you plugged in and you still get problems with only one device attached it's maybe faulty. If you can repeat the process with a different order of the devices and you run into troubles after the 3th 4th or 5th device than maybe there could be a power problem.

I'm a bit disappointed. Those news are an hour old and only 22 replies sofar. What happend to the tornado crowd? People asking this module for a decade! (or even longer) First day purchase for me because it says 1989 in the advertising.

I bought an used virpil CM1 throttle (the big one with the detents) couple of weeks ago and an used rift s. The throttle arrived before the rift and i set it up and used it a bit with my flatscreen and headtracker. I used a TWCS throttle wich has only buttons on the grip before the virpil throttle and i got used to all the buttons quite easy. The only thing that doesn't work that well is my memory about the mode switch, "Why is my landing gear not going down?" in the meantime navigation lights go on/off/on/off/on/off. I think if you can mount it always on the same position via a fixed cockpit or maybe some deskmounts, it should be easy to navigate all the buttons.

I had the same problem couple years ago but can't remember what fixed it. I am really not sure, but it could be the power management system from the usb ports. Try to deactivate it and hopefully it will fix it, but i am not really sure about it since mine was a couple of years ago. Just search for USB power management in google you'll find tutorials for it and also some explanation.
